Bonjour, je vous remercie pour cette vidéo. J'avoue regarder vos vidéos à la demande et quelques fois le soir, car il n'y a rien à la télé. C'est plus intéressant . Merci et prenez soin de vous
Saw this video this morning and just finished the potholder this evening! I always felt that my current potholder needed to be a bit longer and the larger pattern is the same width and 2” longer than my current potholder. Just perfect! Thank-you so much for this video. It gave me the confidence to know that I could do this!
You put your fingers and thumb in the two pockets and it doubles over to hold your hot pot. Ideally you make one for each hand. The 6x10 is quite big but a 5x7 has now been added that is better for smaller hands.
Hi can you please tell me. The name of those scissors you use to cut everything it is the small scissors. I already have the duck scissors.. just never seen the other one you use.. truly enjoyed your videos. They have taught me so much❤

Hi Katherine it wasnt with the sent when I stitched this but I have just looked and on page 6 of the instructions in the rectangular box it tells you. It is after step 8 of the pocket and before step 9. I hope this helps

Did you use 2 pieces of insulbright for the back as well?
If your oven is small and you risk burning the back of your hand(s) I would.
@@KaysCutz thank you
Shouldn’t use insul brute batting for hot pads?
Sure you can, that is what it is made for. Happy stitching.
Thanks Kay. Do you have a stitch along for the two part pig. Does it get attached in the hoop? 3/16/19 Florida, USA.

Thanks Mary pleased you enjoyed it. Happy stitching.
Kay- did you use 2 pieces of insulbrite or a piece of batting and a piece of insulbrite
You use 2 pieces of insulbright Delia.
Kay - for each side
@@photographybyday 2 pieces for the left part of the mitt and 2 for the right
What is that hoop that the lady was using
Hi Mary it's a 6x12 because I don't have a 6x10 hoop but you can use a 6x10 upward for the oven mitt.
@@KaysCutz I was just going to purchase this pattern I thought you could use 5 x 7? :(

@@KaysCutz Thank you so very much going to give it a whirl today.❤
I watched this as I was curious. there wasn't any sewing just cutting and taping. I like to sew. to each his own.
This is in the hoop machine embroidery, Elizabeth not sewing as such, thanks for watching.
