And then since I'd 'traveled' with you through the tent nights, the arrival of the caravan was pure joy! I was totally into the pleasure of experiencing all the conveniences of the caravan. The same beauty as always since Homer and before. 4:40 Tip: Lay a relatively thin layer of gravel, mixed with small rocks from your property, around and under the caravan to reduce dust and incoming debris. Not a thick layer though for to allow the rain to plant the gravel into the soil and so to make a solid surface with it. 11:25 Tip: I think you may already have a plan to make a small and low shelter for the generator. It's easy. 12:58 Wow! Nice idea for the greek sun! 20:20 Yes, a caravan shelter. Think of a proper roof stuff to not radiate the sun heat underneath and not be noisy in the rain. 21:49 I guess you'll choose your favorite tiny spot down there in the long run. 23:55 Epic!
@@4thindrev740 Tarp is short for "Tarpaulin" The black film is to reduce excessive algae growth in the water. Algae will grow in direct sunlight and this will lead to some pretty serious health issues if ingested.
What a great caravan and your 'private' beach is out of this world!!!! I felt calm just by watching you swimming and listening to the sounds of nature! A small suggestion is to use plate like stones to create a floor around your caravan and small paths between your shower and caravan or caravan and shed etc. Have a great life in your paradise ❤
Now we talking, big upgrade. Athough I would try to make use of trees and put caravan under some trees. The shade of trees will make your caravan much more cool. ThaT direct exposure to sun won't work very nice in hot greek summer. A good shade will work as kind of extra "insulation" 👌
It couldn't work to put the caravan under the trees, because when he must pick the olives he must move it. The logical is to make a big frame above and around the caravan and to put a kind of thermo isolated roofing for the winter and also the summertime.

Wonderful that you found a caravan that will meet your interim needs. Tho I'm sure the work ahead may at times appear daunting, a good nights rest will go a long way in perseverance.. Welcome to my country. what you are doing it is a dream concept for alot of us so It would be helpfull if you did a budget/actual of this project from start to finish as the projext moves on. Keep up the stunning takes with your camera!
