I guarantee you the driver that caused the accident doesn't have a driver's license or insurance. No one says what we all know. The police and prosecutor do not charge people for driving without a license or without insurance. I doubt the prosecutor will file charges against the driver who caused the accident.
They can still file charges on that individual and they will have to go to court, regardless… Trust, it will be one ☝🏾 hefty fine… And as for the person that got struck, they can go after the person on civil charges if possible…

The prosecutor in St Louis City has shownin the past she doesn't .make prosecuting these types of cases a priority. there are stop signs at almost every corner going up Cherokee from Jefferson to gravois so a lot of drivers do a "Missouri rolling stop" while traveling up Cherokee, but to be going that fast the driver was likely blowing every stop sign without even slowing down. They're lucky they didn't kill somebody. I hope they learned their lesson!

I don't know this specific neighborhood, but there are lots of areas I drive around to explore, but tree-lined neighborhoods (like this one) hide the stop signs on occasion. Even going 30mph can be dangerous if you're not familiar with the area. The city could help by installing larger, LED-lit (solar-powered) stop signs. We've all seen those... If that doesn't help, then we're talking about negligence and legal prosecution to the driver(s)

I've been sitting at a light with two people in front and two in back, and then some Yahoo runs off the road, around all 5 cars to run a red light. I've even been passed in the middle lane and I usually do 5-10 over the speed limit, just depending if I'm in a busy part or not

Is it me or the first car (grey sadan) didn't come to a complete stop . Yes the other driver definitely sped past the stop sign completely but they both were in the wrong .

Go on also on 44/ 55 split they drive 80 plus,and no use of signals ,cut you off .Ect.
It's just a regular speeding accident, why confiscate cars for speeders, when drunks can mow down MODOT workers and nothing happens to them?

Why not get rid of stop signs on a gritted system going One direction or another people are trying to get from a to b and they are far too many stop signs in my point of view for how many people live in the city.......

Back in 2005 i was on Cherokee and a crackhead jumped on the hood of my car so I headed to I-55 to throw him off of my car .
He got off before i got to the interstate .
One crackhead jumped into my car in East St Louis once back in 1992 and she stunk 🦨 she asked me to take her to 15th and Broadway
I said no and she got out .
I left my door unlocked that's how she got in

This goes on all over st. Louis missouri countries im not surprised 😒 and the police is never around to catch these people, it's like there afraid to stop these people I pull over if someone is riding my bumper or if they are going through stop sign to fast behind me I even sit at the green light for a second an look both ways before pulling off.
Looks like an average day at a 4 way stop in St Louis. Apparently we like to give out drivers licenses like candy on Halloween to absolute morons. This is why I don’t even cruise around anymore. People don’t stop and consider stop signs and street lights as an “inconvenience”
Not only was refusing to obey the the stop sign he was also going it a pretty high speed on a rural street. I'm assuming it was a male maybe not. Revoke his liscense.

Dangerous intersection? No they're dangerous people cars are just the instrument. What happened to the driver? I bet they ran and will not be found or Gardner won't prosecute. Remember it's the car and intersection's fault, not people or prosecutors who aren't accountable themselves and don't/won't prosecute.

They put speed bumps in the wrong places it's not just the drivers fault but the fault of those who say where speed bumps should be. This been happening for years yet they don't think to put something in action to save people's life put a speed bump at the stop signs period in the county they put on 15 feet after stop sign😐 which I can still see the dangers left open for someone to get hurt they must have a bunch of clowns saying where the speed bumps should be
You got it right.the problems is not enough speed bumps. Every intersection needs to have them cuz the drivers cant help they act like wild animals but the bumps tame em down.

What did the intersection do to get the blame? How about the jerk who was obviously speeding with no regard to anyone's safety. Hold the driver responsible.
Pronounced speed bumps and fancy stop lights at intersections may help though it should not be necessary.

Stop.screwing around with stop signs , there are way too many as there is. I'm not , by any means criticizing no one. A better solution to this ongoing problem, is MORE RED LIGHT 📷 .These cameras should be put up around the dangerous areas.At least this may help this dangerous problem, but, it's not 100% , but. It's much better than to.keep.putting up stop signs, that are constantly being ignored!!!
Lol dangerous intersections? You’ve had 2 street lights OUT OF SERVICE on Kingshighway for at least 2 months now. Why do we pay tax to drive on such lousy streets? Fix your stop lights how about that?
