Love this interview ! Wishing so much that i had had the foresight in 2012 when my house sold & i was alone to go ahead & buy a home on wheels like this one. Now i am in my 80th year & planning an extended road trip in my 2008 Toyota Solara Convertible !! Seriously ! May even sleep in it a few nights ! Using a twin size roll up futon in the laid back passenger seat & several thick blankets & pillows for comfort with feet on top of my cooler in the floor board of that seat. Be like a tent with my new canvas top ! Yes i can !
My tip for those that like to read like me. Many communities and some campgrounds and parks have little outdoor libraries that are usually shaped like a tiny house. I recycle my books and magazines that way. You can take books for free and leave some if you want to
I love van tours, and this one really resonated with me. I love what she said about the freedom of finding out who you are when you can just be yourself.

Thank you, that was a wonderful interview, she is me, or I am her….after 2 years of deep depression caused by losing my husband, I decided to b free, I too now relate to being Free and a Nomad….
My dream is to have a camper van some day. Not just for camping though. We have a lot of county fairs and local festivals or small venue music concerts. I get tired easily but maybe I don't want to leave. I could go back to the van and rest for awhile and then go back to the event. Also if you are going to visit relatives or friends you always have a place to stay. Or you go to a town to go shopping and maybe it's a longer drive if you get tired you can go rest
I intend on being a full time nomad when I turn 60. In two years. I have my SUV and I'm going to make myself go camping as Charlotte did. I've been wanting to make this transition in my life for quite some time. Her kitchen shelf and dresser really stood out to me. Now I've got to get a Berky. Thank you ladies for showing us how to do it so well! I'm turning 55 next week & still have a 16.5 yr old at home. I hope to join this lifestyle in a couple of years! This makes me 😭 cuz I just lost my Mom and she always had an adventurous spirit. I know she would have loved being a Nomad if it had been as common as it is now, even 10 -15 years ago especially for women. ❤
A sweet lady. And she is happy and satisfied with who she is and that she wants to discover traveling and other like minded people. Good for you . Thanks for the interview and tour. From Central Oklahoma
I loved meeting Charolette at the meet up. Her van is fabulous!!! I agree with her, I don’t want to insulate my van because I don’t want to give up using magnets. 🤣 So far I haven’t had any problems not having insulation. I am going to try the wallpaper like she did. I really like the look. Another great interview and tour Jan. Can’t wait to see y’all both again. P. S. I subscribed to her RUclips.
They do make a Radiant Barrier material that's very thin it's pretty much like a screen that you could put on the inside walls and still have your magnetics. Even if you put aluminum foil behind the wallpaper the sun rays will bounce off and you'll still have your magnetics

You were going to put the link for the rice maker. Love your videos... I'm looking at some rigs. My husband is terminal and right now I'm decking out my SUV for car camping. But it would be nice to occasionally, when he feels he can, go with my husband. I want to meet other women, so when I am alone, I will have some knowledge, contacts and relationships. I don't think I'd ever be full time (I don't know how I'd give up my sewing studio), but I want what you all have. I might not know what to call it, but I know it when I see it. Travel well and travel safely, everyone one of you fabulous nomads.

You’re van is pretty great. How did you cut down the bed? And where did you get the mattress from. I have a crew van and trying to figure out bed options. Thank you.
It’s a very nice idea with the solar however if you speak with engineers who install they would give you a dozen reasons why you shouldn’t put it there. Can easily be stolen if you are away from the van. Takes away from efficiency of gas mileage. They can get easily damaged from road stones. They are not made for the sides of vans. I am glad you enjoy it but it’s not the best use of expensive solar panels. Just the way you grow as you go you will find it’s better for solar in the roof. Safe travels. Can’t imagine why you wouldn’t insulate it though.
Thank you, great video. Just curious what stove she uses? It looks like an electric one and not propane or butane. And is she powering it with the bluette 700?
That was another great tour! I love her story. Wow, no insulation, we can't have that in Canada. It would be too cold. Another plus for no insulation apart from being able to use magnets is: more room on the sides - nice. Sun panels on the side of the van. Interesting. Have a great day! 🙂

She really is. 💙🦋💙
I love you girls!
💙🦋💙
Do you have any videos of cargo vans? CHEVY EXPRESS OR GMC? IT SEEMS NO ONE HAS THESE VANS. ITS ETHER PROMASTERS OR MINI VANS.
Don't think I've come across one yet. Love to do a tour when I see one. 🦋
Ooh! Is there a link to the tiny oven at 8:00?
Yes, the link for that and more is in the description of this video: ruclips.net/video/9p4QWl0_mZY/видео.html
@@ButterflyTracks Thanks, Jan!
I come here for inspiration....
These women really are an inspiration. 💙🦋💙
That was another great tour! I love her story. Wow, no insulation, we can't have that in Canada. It would be too cold. Another plus for no insulation apart from being able to use magnets is: more room on the sides - nice. Sun panels on the side of the van. Interesting. Have a great day! 🙂
Thanks, Louise. 💙🦋💙
Would like to take your butterfly trip. Please send information.

Where to buy oven
The link is in the description of this video: ruclips.net/video/9p4QWl0_mZY/видео.html
It never showed could you tell me how & where to buy oven
absolutely love the wallpaper idea. not really impressed with builds that cover all the metal, increase weight, and reduce the overall feeling of space. yea, just use magnets.
Totally agree 💙🦋💙
❤😊❤

Wish I could get a bigger van too🫠 nice job fixing it up
Bigger van would be great. It means less miles per gallon, but I can dream.
@@ButterflyTracks I know right? Im dreaming right there with ya🤔
