    What do you think of Gunpla? Have you tried it? Are there any RUclips creators you'd recommend?

      I like Kakarot197 and Jabman025 for Gunpla kit reviews. Mecha Gaikotsu can be okay sometimes too. The official Gundam Info youtube channel usually has a few of the anime series streaming for free too

      Been making Gunpla since the early 2000's 🙂 Don't generally use them for gaming as they don't scale well with other things so they're usually one-off models or put into dioramas!
      It's hard for me to recommend many Gunpla youtubers. There are some talented folks but quite a few have questionable leanings - that said "Model Making Guru" has made some good videos, especially if you're looking for techniques. For painting, you clearly know the basics so I'd probably recommend looking into more traditional modelmakers as the main difference in painting is scale. These are 20m tall robots so your weathering needs to be scaled accordingly. "Night Shift" makes WW2 tanks/dioramas, there's a lot of techniques there that can easily be applied to gunpla (and Warhammer, again if you scale accordingly!)

      I don't collect minis due to the price of it. The price of GW kits really baffles me. Comparing a 1/100 MG Gunpla kit to a Imperial Knight, the price of the Imperial Knight does not even make sense for me.
      For quick reviews I recommend Mecha Gaikotsu, since he reviews recent releases sometimes old kits.
      For slightly in-depth review of a kit Zaku Aureluis is a good one.
      For cool custom gunpla I would recommend Studio G and EA gunpla.
      Edit: If you are kinda interested on a "mini" like gunpla, just search for Gundam Artifact. But i think the line is quite limited on the designs available. And correct me if I am wrong, they are made with resin or resin like plastic.

    Hi. I just have weeks stucked with my Warhammer. I recently have to moved for work to other city and I bring with me a great part of my minis, tools, paints…but….I don’t find the moment, the place, and the setup to continue painting. And this bring me newly to gundam world. It’s easier and gratifying to build it. I just bought one Sazabi days ago and I’m so excited waiting to get it in my hands. I also recommend to try it, it’s a good idea to relax in moments that are busy. Thank a lot.

    Gunpla can be painted like a warhammer mini, take it as you will

    • @Diapl3
      @Diapl3 10 дней назад +1

      Yes, there are a lot of artwork, painting, mods and mucho more. Years ago when I began with gundams, I never paint it, only panel lines. This time I return to gunpla and I have in mind to do something more but simple, I think painting gumpla can be an enormous project.

      @@theguywhogotdonuted1136 Yes, but I mean, building gunpla can be simple and less "demanding" than warhammer, what I need in some momments, just open the box, cut, sand and mount, a direct way to satisfying fun. But, my mind is drawing dark plans and "complicate" the momment of simple amussement, and paint, weathering, it´s horrible!! ☺. I have the full kit, airbrushes, good compressor, spraying cabin, and a too much tools, paints than I can use, a lot of years collecting. Thnaks for the reply.
