Why are none of the questions posted answered? That speaks very poorly of the Moffit Cancer Center.

I do have a couple of questions. (I'm 4 days post op - posterior approach)
    Is it common the have:
super sharp pain in the knee joint?
    sharp pain in the bum?
Thanks for looking at my questions

Today marks my 4 day post op and my knee was very sore and stiff when I woke up so I just gently massaged the pain away. Also both of my buttocks have been sore since post op. I massage my buttocks as well. I see your comment was 7 months ago. Are you pain free now?

Yes, just had my other side done so I have a matching set. On my first hip replacement, I went front a pai level 4 to a 1. After 6 months, no pain at all. Just got out recovery fir my second hip replacement. Pain is less than a 1. Def, you can have a high, quality life with a hip replacement.

My understanding is that you do not want to let the foot on your surgical leg turn inward if you have the posterior method, but if you have the anterior method, you do not want to let the foot on your surgical leg turn outward. Please clarify.

Are you able to do activities now?
I am to get my hip done beginning of next year. I'm going through physical therapy at the moment to get me stronger. I'm scared of the surgery but it's something I can't continue to avoid. I have had both my knees done a few years back and it was rough. So many people who have had both knee and hip say it is not as bad as knee. So I am hoping for that.
      I hope you're doing well.

Kind of a compulsive disorder for me bt thats how I feel, Im considering that new treeatment of regrowing the cells in your hip to help it heal, Or il go to a paster and have him or her heal me with the lords power lol, im open minded haha.
