Well done madam, I had a total hip replacement 1 year ago but the hip oparated first is limping and the last one healed completely. I did physiotherapy and gym but no change. I feel sad😢.. kindly help please 🙏
Thanks for the video. )) I do have a couple of questions. (I'm 4 days post op - posterior approach) Is it common the have: super sharp pain in the knee joint? sharp pain in the bum? Thanks for looking at my questions
Today marks my 4 day post op and my knee was very sore and stiff when I woke up so I just gently massaged the pain away. Also both of my buttocks have been sore since post op. I massage my buttocks as well. I see your comment was 7 months ago. Are you pain free now?

@@sgb.808 yes absolutely, this surgery changed my life, i finally returned to my job as a pharmacist, and i can walk everyday a 10 km without any problems.. But you can't participate in high impact sports like running, football, basketball
@sgb.808 Yes, just had my other side done so I have a matching set. On my first hip replacement, I went front a pai level 4 to a 1. After 6 months, no pain at all. Just got out recovery fir my second hip replacement. Pain is less than a 1. Def, you can have a high, quality life with a hip replacement. John McHatton

@@SkyHermit putting socks on will still be almost impossible because your leg will be so swollen you still can’t bend down at the hip Give it a couple of weeks and you will start to feel a new lease on life finally The frustration and depression will disappear Good luck
My understanding is that you do not want to let the foot on your surgical leg turn inward if you have the posterior method, but if you have the anterior method, you do not want to let the foot on your surgical leg turn outward. Please clarify.
I know your comment is a year old. But why don't these tips apply to anterior surgery? I am going to have to get THR soon. I am having anterior procedure.
Total hip replacement could be avoided with neuro therapy and ayurvedic treatment . I have bilateral Avascular necrosis in my hip of 2nd stage and I have lot of relief from the treatment.
I REALLY wish they would use people who actually have had hip replacement so it would show the realistic outcomes of posture and stride, etc. I hate this fake crap.
I had mine six weeks ago. I was scared prior to my surgery, but it's all went very well. When they walked me two hours post surgery , I could tell I could walk better than before. It's going to be fine
How are you now? Did everything go well? Are you able to do activities now? I am to get my hip done beginning of next year. I'm going through physical therapy at the moment to get me stronger. I'm scared of the surgery but it's something I can't continue to avoid. I have had both my knees done a few years back and it was rough. So many people who have had both knee and hip say it is not as bad as knee. So I am hoping for that. I hope you're doing well.
Sorry to hear, my right hip has some deformity its not to bad right now bt I feel it slowly getting worse, theres no way in hell il ever get a replacement id rather die than have limited leg movement. Kind of a compulsive disorder for me bt thats how I feel, Im considering that new treeatment of regrowing the cells in your hip to help it heal, Or il go to a paster and have him or her heal me with the lords power lol, im open minded haha. Kareem hope you feel better soon mate. Hi from Sydney Australia :)
Why are none of the questions posted answered? That speaks very poorly of the Moffit Cancer Center.

You should go to the hospital before it's too late, you'll need to have x-rays done as well, you'll be in the hospital for at least a week
Also your going to get screws implanted in your hip or you'll get a form of hip replacement
