Outstanding video!!! It's always a pleasure to watch you and your team create beautiful pieces of furniture. Whatever type of wood is used, the piece will be magnificent. The Canadian Black Walnut was really nice. Glad to see the new machine in the shop, getting ready to work. Watched the arrival on Instagram. Can't wait to see the new equipment in action. Haven't seen Charlie in several videos. Glad he's making appearances again. Keep up the good work!!!
Another piece of artwork (in the form of a table) from BFWC and its crew. I'll say it again - you guys are amazing. The Canadian Black Walnut has a very distinct grain pattern - I like it. I'm still not going to believe that you have a new sander until I see the video of it working - LOL. Stay safe.
@@BlackForestWoodCo Kudos to you and your team. I wish you guys device a syllabus for a degree or some certificate program in universities. I hope more people learn your art for posterity. Cheers.
Another beautiful piece of art. ❤ The Canadian Black Walnut seems to be more subtle than some of the California Walnuts There is a large Mennonite Community near where I live in Southern Ontario,so maybe it was cut and mlled from near here! I'm really looking forward to seeing the new machine in operation - that thing is a beast!
I'm in London, ON... tons of killer black walnut around. A couple of the local arborists slab it up and sell it for crazy cheap. There's also Canadian Woodworks not too far away who is also a fantastic supplier. 80% of my woodworking is in black walnut, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
A stunning table as always. Dont you guys ever get tired of them? Or is it that the beauty and interest is in the fact that every piece of timber is different, so making each table unique. Very much impressed with the new sander. Yes it is a lot of money with all the extra power, air and extraction but hey you have to spend the money on something then why not the best equipment. It will pay for itself in quick time with all the work that you guys produce. Look forward to seeing it in action. Cheers Michael.
Nope. AND, the Amish travel by train quite frequently. On my trips to Reno via Amtrak I usually see them in the cars. They are so fun to talk with and play with the monkeys in the window cars.
Absolutely LOVE black walnut in any form, but that Canadian black walnut seems sooo much better. Wish you would have shown how the Amish cut their slabs but know they don’t approve to be filmed or photographed.
I assume someone has already said this. The only way deseil engines will work is via electric from for glow plugs to the battery. I love the Amish and respect them for their efforts in doing 99% of what we do not only without electric but in all of their lives. All that said. Great build. Awesome wood. You really got some great wood from the Amish.
Good morning 🌅, Great looking 👀 Table, SCM machine very nice, just one question, I thought dust from sanding and shavings from planing was best to be separated, because of static, can cause fire, and explosion, Great job, From France,
Great video. I like the color of the darker wood. It seems to set off the epoxy color making the color richer and deeper. I really like it. Is the wood you used for this table more expensive than your typical walnut? Do you have to ask for it and is the wood delivered in a timely fashion? Lastly, Are the price of your products such as the ceramic line etc.. ever going to drop in price? Anyhow, great job scratch Charlie behind the ears for me....
So you can use the oil right over the epoxy? I'm almost to the point of finish on a gift for my kids mother and have been confused on what the best approach for finish type would be. (Is a coffee table made from a tree she and her deceased father planted as a kid)
I have been enjoying your great work guys for quite some time, I like the wood, color, and the finish 👍🏼 salute from Saudi Arabia. I would love to know how much this table cost? I want to order one
The extra bits that you cut off these pieces, why don’t you use them to make pendants or similar type of jewellery and or cups and small things. It will look damn good and people will buy probably since it’s unique.
I prefer the California Walnut myself. But still obviously a really nice table. The one piece looks like a whale lol. That planer/sander looks amazing! Congratulations!
Hello, I am French and I love your channel. Would it be possible to offer your videos in French like Backtail studio does? He has an automatic translation into French with his voice THANKS
Please plug Charlie's ears because I don't want him to hear this. I would take the machine. 😳 That table is huge and beautiful! Nice work as usual. I don't know if I could pick a favorite walnut because each type has its unique features. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent. I hope Charlie can forgive me. 😉
The world would be a better place with More Charlies. 🐾🐾 Nice table, love the wood color and figure. 🧡🧡🧡
Agreed! Thank you Maddie!
That Canadian black walnut is beautiful!
Agreed!
12:39 the shadow it casts is pretty cool looking.
Agreed! I always love when we get to see them in the sunlight for that reason + it always makes the wood grain pop so much more
Love the table. I'm from west central Wisconsin and there are a lot of Amish farms and sawmills around here.
That's a beast of a machine! I'm looking heavily at the SD10. Seems like SCM is the best quality for wide belts.
THAT CANADIAN BLACK WALNUT IS SIMPLY GORGEOUS!!!!!
I love the big pieces but would also like to see some shorts of smaller end tables or wall art where you get creative.

As always, great design and great execution! You are amazing!!!
Thank you so much!
Great to see you using some Canadian timber. Table is awesome
Always great to watch and learn from you guys . Love them both!
Thanks so much Josie! 😄
Walnut of any type is the king in North America!
Very nice table, I prefer the darker walnut. Looking forward to seeing that machine in action
Another stunning table guys! I really like the character in the wood of this one, it’s gorgeous
Thank you so much Derek!

Absolutely beautiful as always great job. That’s also an amazing machine can’t wait to see it in action. And I would take the 721 Charlie’s lol

Another beautiful piece of work x
Thanks so much Patrick
It is beautiful. So smooth and so appealing!
Thank you so much!
Its so fascinating how the imperfections are used to enhance the aesthetics of the product. (Wabi-Sabi) Mind blowing !!👌👌👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much 😊
I actually had never heard of Wabi-Sabi before, but that's a great way to describe what we're doing!

@@jeffgrant935- we have a lot of them here in K-W as well - squirrels love them!
I like both types of Walnut (American/Canadian) because they both have their own character which sets them apart from each other!
Me too! Thanks Dan!
Another fantastic job guys and congratulations on your sander 👍😎
Thank you so much!
So beautiful! Nice job, guys!
Thank you!

Well what’s not to like gang - it’s is yet another amazing piece.
Personally I am a fan of the Canadian wood…….
I think I prefer the Cali dark Walnut, but they are both beautiful!. Nice job on this table..So very nice!
that transparent finish looks great
gorgeous piece, loved the wood with the transparent black resin :D
More wood less plastic
Beautiful!!
its beautiful.. nice work!!
Thank you so much!
HAS ANY OF YOUR TABLES BEEN IN A MOVIE? THEY NEED TO BE!
Gorgeous work

Hi - beautiful piece - your client should be very pleased!!! For me go Canada go!!!

Looks great as always boys!
Thanks Jake!
Nope. AND, the Amish travel by train quite frequently. On my trips to Reno via Amtrak I usually see them in the cars. They are so fun to talk with and play with the monkeys in the window cars.
I love the timbers from both countrys
at 0:05 the plank that buddy in the red shirt is standing on...is shaped a bit like the north island of New Zealand.
Absolutely gorgeous
Yup, love the Canadian walnut.
Beautiful table!!
Thank you!
Absolutely LOVE black walnut in any form, but that Canadian black walnut seems sooo much better. Wish you would have shown how the Amish cut their slabs but know they don’t approve to be filmed or photographed.
Yeah we alos wish we could have, but yes we had to respect their wishes!
9:05 we have something quite similar here down under - Bundaberg Ginger Beer - yummmmmmmmm……
Over 350k subscribers wow. I think when I started watching there were only 25 of us. Don’t get many notifications from you

The differences make furniture even more interesting.

They don’t push their values on me and I don’t push mine on them. If I am talking about Amish or Black Forest. All the same.
A diesel engine with a mechanical fuel pump doesn't need "electric" anything to run. The starter needs power to turn and that's it.
Good morning 🌅, Great looking 👀 Table, SCM machine very nice, just one question, I thought dust from sanding and shavings from planing was best to be separated, because of static, can cause fire, and explosion,
Great job, From France,
Also looking forward to new shop update.
Working with that saw at the saw becomes more dangerous when your legs aren't protected at all.
Great video. I like the color of the darker wood. It seems to set off the epoxy color making the color richer and deeper. I really like it. That was a nice lookin machine at the end 👍
Thank you Terry!
I hear song in your Ears *Amish Paradise* 😂🤷♂️😘
Hahaha yes! 😂

That's a wonderful present!
Yes, you can put oil over the epoxy after it'd fully cured and has been sanded
Very beautiful
Thanks so much 😁
Do you have a video on how a customer takes care of the final product, such as the tables and doors.
I have been enjoying your great work guys for quite some time, I like the wood, color, and the finish 👍🏼 salute from Saudi Arabia.
I would love to know how much this table cost? I want to order one
Thanks so much! This one went for about $22K CAD
You can email dylan@blackforestwood.com for a quote!
That looks great. Have you tried Australian red gum?
Same,Where is Charlie??????????!!!!!!
Watch till the end
Howdy and thanks. Why do you does not cover the wood completely with epoxy? 😊
The extra bits that you cut off these pieces, why don’t you use them to make pendants or similar type of jewellery and or cups and small things. It will look damn good and people will buy probably since it’s unique.
You could add another description to the table: how many people are needed to pick it up? This would be a 9 man project😀
Nice work
Thank you so much!
Where’s the wire wheel attachment on the new sander ??? 😧 you gotta have the option cuz what if ??!… haha
Canadian!!! I'd really like it better if it was Tennessee.....LOL!!!
I thin this Canadian wallnut is much more spectaculair than the Californian wallnut!
I prefer the California Walnut myself. But still obviously a really nice table. The one piece looks like a whale lol.
That planer/sander looks amazing! Congratulations!
Canadian black walnut all the way!
Good choice!
Those end cracks don’t concern you?
Amazing finish but show the construction of the base
I prefer the missouri black walnut
California Walnut
What is your typical grit to sand to?
320 grit typically
What happened to the spray graphene you were using so much before?

We won't let Charlie see this comment! Hahaha
Thanks so much for watching and enjoying our videos!
can you apply ceramic coating on an oiled surface?
Yes, we did in this video! You just have to wait for the finish to cure for a few days
9.19 if you're going to cover the entire table in your oil, why do you apply it only on the timber first?
Because it soaks it up more than the resin does, so we end up adding more oil to the wood than the resin
70/30 in favor of the oil? I'm surprised the urethane is as high as 30%. The oil is clearly superior. If you want wood, enjoy the grain of it.
Those bubbles and router marks must hurt
Do you ever get orders from UK
Not so many, but occasionally!
Great table but according to Brad its soulless since it was basically made by the cnc machine
