Chico, the sad part is that it wouldn't even take that much. Many white people at worst think that reparations are just poor black ___________ (< enter racist word here) looking for a handout - and at best, they've never even heard of reparations, because when white people find out what reparations are? They categorically use the troupe of, "well someone's great great great grandaddy had slaves, so now I have to pay for it? If we cut the military budget in half, which would still be more than Russia and China combined, and shell out 3 trillion in a year like we did for Covid, it would pay for it or at least most of it. As you stated, you are an African immigrant, you are an example of an individual who would not get reparations, not every black person is descended from slaves. If we provided such reparations for Americans descended from slaves it would actually boost our economy significantly as black people are just as much consumers as white people, and in fact, black middle class people are even bigger consumers than white people. I don't see this as something negative. The idea of reparations is nothing new, after the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln's private views on reconstructing the south back into the union, included giving every freed slave forty acres of land, and the tools necessary to work that land, the ability to vote, and to run for office... - and he was shot dead by John Wilkes Boothe, a die hard confederate. If you take how much forty acres of land is in today's monetary averages, adding the tools necessary to work that land, it is something to the tune of $130,000-$150,000. These are not radical views, these are the views held by the Union, who won the Civil war, yet the South continued the Civil War and took all of their wrath they held for the North out on the freed black slaves. And when ANY public figure started back in to the ideas of helping black people, well, they were shot dead too, Jack Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Medgar Evers, Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X. And the war continues today, if they can't kill these people, they bribe the leaders of black communities to vote a certain way, or they gerrymander the districts and pass laws to make it next to impossible for black people to vote. They want to give black people just enough to shut them up..., and then the leaders with the real ideas towards change, like Bernie Sanders, they give them just enough to make them think they will move in their direction, but really they just castrate them... or make them look like ignorant fools, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes, Nina Turner, or Stacey Abrams. Well, I say, spread the word. If we already give reparations to Native Americans, and to Japanese Americans descended from those sent to internment camps, and not Americans Descended From Slaves? Then you have to know the issue is not really being supported by anyone. And if reparations were to happen? It would shine the light even more so on the evils inflicted on black Americans over the years. This is why it has yet to happen. Lord Jesus I pray for the day.

The Democrats keep minorities down through a multitude of ways, all of which are despicable and demeaning in nature:
      1. The racism of soft expectations seen in Affirmative Action programs and Critical Race Theory training seeks to confirm to those indoctrinated, that *certain* minorities are somehow less capable than whites, and therefore require the assistance of their "more successful counterparts". Add this to the growing desire for segregated "safe spaces" in schools and "minority-only programs", and we're looking at modern-day Jim Crow, brought to you by our good friends, the Democrats.
      2. Government handouts act as a sort of morphine drip relied upon in often poor minority communities while Democrats continue to enact legislation that reduces upward mobility and hurts their ability to become financially independent, thereby securing their votes and remaining in power through what amounts to political extortion. This is a tried and true strategy that has been perfected over the years by many Communist dictators. Why would a country's citizens bite the hand that feeds them? Instead, need evolves into complacency, and soon the "generous hand of government" becomes an iron fist that beats down the slightest hint of opposition with secret police, executions, and gulags like those we've seen in China, Russia, and Nazi Germany.
      3. Controlling the racial narrative through government and pseudo-government imposed restrictions on freedom of speech, as well as the labeling of opposition as "ignorant, racist monsters". It's fairly simple to convince those who don't have the time or desire to think for themselves through a controlled narrative seen everywhere they look. You can find them in Hollywood movies, TV commercials, music, and on nearly every "news" organization there is. Everyone can see it plain as day, but don't consider it a problem because they've been trained to take partisan headlines as "absolute truth", without question. They've been trained to believe that "conspiracies" don't exist, taking any criticism of their beliefs, whether fair or not, as comparable to flat-Earth/lizard people/CIA mind-control ramblings. Instead of taking your statement at face value, they turn it into this outlandish fantasy in their heads, entirely and deliberately mischaracterizing that which you've said in order to protect themselves from facing the reality that they are horribly misinformed and misled by those they opt to elect.
      4. In many cases, the people who claim to care most about these supposed "victim groups" are ignorant enough to believe that personal responsibility, the ability to think for oneself, and intelligence are foreign concepts to them, and use this reasoning to justify their over-the-top actions (rioting, kneeling, reparations, censorship, etc.). Instead of allowing those claimed to be so horribly affected by problems in society to act for themselves, these woke privileged activists virtue signal, pander, and riot *for them,* regardless of whether or not it is what they want.
      5. Societal pressure from within one's own community, which is often reinforced by mainstream televison and news, is weaponized against those in these "victim groups" who stand up and say that they are not in fact victims, but people who are just as capable as everyone else. They are called disgusting names like "race traitor" or "Uncle Tom" and even ostracized by their friends and family for having a difference of opinion.
All of this is the carefully-orchestrated work of racist Democrats since they lost the Civil War all those years ago. To this day, they *still* maintain the belief that minorities are lesser beings that need the help of whites in order to be successful, because they can't possibly get by on their own. They've manipulated large swaths of the American population into securing power for themselves in an ever-growing number of government positions and institutions (thanks, in part, to their unconstitutional changes being made to the voting process in key states as well as the mail-in voting process for those who previously couldn't be bothered to go to a polling station to vote).
Don't take my word for it; you need only listen to the ignorant doctrine proposed by these racist, elitist politicians to see that every word I've said is true. Either society will recognize and eliminate the threat posed by leftist ideologues, or history will be written to reflect poorly on those who fought against the evils of "woke" culture, comparing them to Nazis and war criminals for the great sin of speaking their minds and fighting for *true* equality.

If you can’t see the beauty in these people, then there’s something wrong there. This is why there are discussions about reforming our education. As a native of Tulsa of what was called 1921 Race Riot now know today as the 1921 Massacre was never taught in our school and still to this day they are trying to keep it out of our schools throughout Oklahoma. I learned about this massacre like 10 years ago. I’ve heard a little about it here and there but never the real story in my 52 years of living. This need to be taught in school never to forget.
