    Great job! I love my new CVO and your video helped me get the bike setup properly. I will say rerouting the battery tender cable was a lot more work then I expected but worth it. Thanks again. August P.

      Awesome! Yes there is no great way to feed the tender through the harness. I have found most of the new '24's do not have the spark plug wire holders anymore!

    Hi again very good video as always. I enjoy watching because I do a lot of work to my own bike as well. One thing I noticed is that with the heated plugs that are supplied under the seat is that one of the heated plugs is not functional and the one that is functional is not long enough to connect to the Harley-Davidson® heated gear, so I had to install my own heated gear plug long enough to reach the heat gear. The positive thing about installing your own heated gear plug is that you now can reach or know exactly where the fuse is if you have to change the fuse. One other thing to note is that with the automatic light changing feature for the display, I was riding with a friend who has very bright headlights, and when he was riding behind me, it changed it made my screen change to the white screen at night, which nearly blinded me, so I turned the auto feature off, because it will turn to day mode which uses the white screen, and and blind you.

      @ITFZone  9 месяцев назад +1

      Appreciate your support and having you in my comments, I enjoy your channel as well! I have never invested in heated gear, I wait for a 50 degree day and just enjoy the sun through the winter months. This is the first bike I have owned with heated grips, I am enjoying them on my way into work! I like the button approach for the grips, works well, would suck to have to dig through the menus to turn them on, the button is a win. I was expecting them to get much hotter than they do and they take a good 10min plus to get warm. But a nice feature for sure now that I have it!

    Thanks again for all the great content, with the recent patches, Harley has introduced. I’m not clear what parts you need to mimic a microphone on the infotainment system for the Apple CarPlay to work. I would like to keep my I phone plugged in to the usb, and not use Bluetooth…

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  4 месяца назад

      Hello, to use your phone wired but also have a headset paired you need the Bluetooth adapter and a USB splitter, however most splitters will not work. The BCLink adapter I featured will work as it is unique that the 2nd power port will produce enough amps to power the Bluetooth adapter. Another good, in depth video, thank you for making it. I'm going to keep tuning in so when I do pull the trigger, I will have learned how to do everything from you. I'm looking forward to getting a new CVO, but I want to wait for a different color option. I like the 2 color options available now, but they aren't making me pull the trigger yet. Personally, I LOVE last years 2022 CVO road glide in the wicked orange color combo. Classic Harley....I'm in my early 50's, what can I say? It may take a while, but I'll be patient since were talking about $50K!!

      Appreciate the support! I would agree the colors are not the best this year. The whiskey neat is amazing, but I am not a chrome guy. I was but not yet ready to go back yet. The cost is prohibitive for the hand painted technique. Keep tuning in, I have a good list of videos I want to share!

      I will for sure keep tuning in. I've been watching some videos on RUclips and guys are saying that HD dealerships are selling the new CVO's for as much as $6,000 over MSRP!! Is that true? Going to be hard to convince me to pull the trigger if that's the case. Hope you had a better financial experience@@ITFZone

    Patiently waiting on my 24 only another week till it arrives hopefull. Question for you, does the fork lock automatically lock like the 22s did when you turned the knob and hit the fob button to lock? To me it looks like it can only be locked with the barrel key now? Thanks for all the great CVO content.

    Do you now what kind protection can i use for my rear fender?. If i remove my seat i see the paint is not damage but i must grap my polishmachine

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  11 месяцев назад

      This is a challenge, seats will always rub the paint. The option would be to use some paint protection film and continue to replace it. Really would depend how often you have the passenger seat installed but there is no way I have found to prevent the damage, anything that rubs the surface will mar it and overtime remove the film, clear coat and paint. Your passenger just made need their own bike! ;)

    In the navigation do you know if there is anyway to zoom in or out on the map? My old GTS on my 2018 you could.

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  10 месяцев назад

      Great question, I have found no way to zoom in or out with the built in navigation. I have tried every button and finger jester on the screen. No pinch to zoom. If you tap and hold it brings up search and you can move around the map but no zoom. I do like the built in navigation for a motorcycle over Waze / Apple Maps in Car Play but zooming out would be nice. It should be there so hopefully an update will bring it back!

      @jarodhynson8604 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@ITFZone the other thing they need to fix is when you import a ride via ride planner, there used to be a way to skid the next waypoint. They need to revisit that. The navigation is better, but they missed some key things.

      We did not get the mono shock nor the electronic adjustment that many of us were thinking. But what we have performs the best of any touring model I have ever owned. The front is soft, but this new version is a pleasure to ride. Being an old school Harley fan I do want the character of an original Harley to remain in the experience.

    Checking with a few "23 CVO owners. I have 800 miles on mine and have a nasty, what sounds like a noisy lifter. Listening to it, it may be that or coming from the primary. No noise accelerating or decel, but say 2300 rpm 35 mph, clak, clak... It's loud and of course Harley dealer says, "oh that's normal".... so does your CVO have this nasty bad lifter noise? Thanks for your help.

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  9 месяцев назад

      Hello, Overall I have noticed the 121 has more tick and less whirring (sewing machine) sounds. Overall there is no stand out or loud sound. Abnormal sounds are the worst but usually rewarding once resolved. Can you replicate the sound at all in neutral, revving to 2300 RPM? If so I would look more at the primary over the tranny. I would check for a loose exhaust shield. If it really sounds like its coming from the left side of the bike (as you sit on it) I would want to remove the primary cover and get a good look, at least drain the fluid and see what's on the drain plug magnet.

    • @user-no3go1mz9q
      @user-no3go1mz9q 9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks, I did drain the primary and there were several metal shaving on the plug. Checked the slip-on clamps and shields all were tight. When revving it in neutral you can hear a faint version of the noise, but very faint. When riding I put my hand on the front of the motor at the head for vibration to match the noise, then the rear, but couldn't really tell. Lots of vibration at the primary, but again couldn't tell anything from that. I'd love to open the primary, but fear that Harley would say, well that's the problem, you did something to it. @@ITFZone

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  9 месяцев назад

      HD cannot void your warranty if you opt to perform your own maintenance. You would have the cost of a new gasket. Shavings are normal on the primary drain plug, especially for a new bike. I am about to release a video on what mine looked like. The concern would be that the adjuster is not working so your primary chain would be loose which can create the sound your are describing, would lead to early wear of the chain. Another idea is get a gopro flex clamp mount but with the phone adapter and see if you can get a recording of the sound. Or just get a good audio recording of how it sound in neutral under rev. Did you grab a picture of your primary drain plug shavings? Anyhow you are welcome to email me anything you have and I will take a look. ITFZoneEmail@gmail.com

    HD needs to get into bed with Apple , Samsung or etc.. and get the infotainment sorted. It makes HD look stupid when a $200 cell phone has better infotainment system.

    • @ITFZone
      @ITFZone  10 месяцев назад

      I will say I am enjoying the built in interface. It works well for a motorcycle over CarPlay. There is room for improvement but my hope is that Harley will gather input from riders and really work this new platform.
