Hey mate, i know the video is a couple years old now, but what was the purpose of the sandwich plate on the oil filter? Is it for higher oil pressure or for like an oil pressure guage? Cheers mate

Hello, my name is Ariel, I am from Argentina, I have a Toyota Coaster made into a motorhome, I travel a lot to Patagonia and I have many climbs and the torque is not enough. I bought a turbo and I am starting to modify it. Is it necessary to put a TPS on the diesel pump? Or just giving it more diesel is it okay?
I only think give it 0.5kg of pressure, does this compromise the reliability of the motor a lot? Thank you
You Should change the bonnet also for intercooler performance
I just don’t get how people say after they turbo their 1HZ oh so happy with the power it goes so good now I mean it’s still a 1HZ it’s still going to be slow as. I turboed my 1HZ and ended up pulling the whole motor and putting a factory 1HDFT in which made a world of difference

heat is your friend on those old studs and nuts. I was lucky that after I let it heat soaked then hit it with penetrant, that they all came out. replaced with S/S studs.
Just put a jb kit in my hzj105. Piece of piss. Bloody glad I didn't have the manifold issues you had mate

Where is the hood scoop
I bought a 75 series ute with similar after market turbo and the air filter unit has been completely removed. Is this normal? Could it be somewhere else like inside the snorkel?

I don't think 75 series came with the EGR..Am I wrong?.. If so, then there is no reason for the catch can...

Oil feed for the turbo I believe
Yes, it is the oil feed for the turbo, this area has direct oil feed from the oil pump.
Where's the bonnet scoop for the intercooler? She'd be suffering big time from heat soak
The customer was getting a custom made one that was fitted when they went on their trip.
Does it not need a bonnet scoop?
It was getting a custom one made after this, sadly we didn't see it.

I've seen them in NSW for about $13-$21K, thats for 1989 - 1999 1hz utes tho (non turbo), troopies and other 70 series around those dates are around the same over in NSW as well. Just gotta do some looking around.
