    Put this kit on 10 years ago. Going great. Only deviation was to make and install an exhaust flange gasket. Kit did not include this, they said they were unreliable and Burt out. With the proper material I have never had a problem with this.

      En cualquier mecánico relativamente bueno, si vas a andar entre 5 y 7psi que es medio kilo o medio bar no necesitas cambiar nada solo poner turbo, hacer el colectir de escape en cualquier tornero masomenos bueno o ni tan bueno solo sodar brida para encajar turbo y solo linea de entreada y por abajo por gravedad la de salida al cartes de aceite y listo, un turbo ct12b de runner 98 es delicioso jala desde muyyy abajo lo que uno quiere para solo 0.5bs, el que diga muy chico no debe saber que este viene en el 15bt y ademas si no vas a ir a mas de 0.5 sobra con demasiado mejores bajos que el ct26 que es super lento, si pillas td05 tbn te va bien y es mas fino y estas feliz con solo 0.6 bar (digo para quien no es turbo andar a 0.6 sienten el cielo) no necesitas cambiar nada, asi mas de 10años ande un 1hz, un 14b, etc y decenas mas, con el ball bearing turbo gtx2867r ya es otra cosa pero ya te vas yendo a extremo para los q andamos a mas de 20psi y no tan preocupados de que si quebra algo el motor o no, xq vale la pena.
      Un dato el 1hz que hace en la pick up 99 en viajes como a 100km/h un consumo como de 9km/l con solo poner el ct12b turbo a 8psi (ct12b no es ct12 ni ct12a) solo con el tenes entre 10 a 11km/l incluso dandole 1/8 o casi 1/4 de vuelta a mas al perno que te da mas caudal en la bomba de diesel. Eso en 3 años solo con el ahorro de combustible y de mi tiempo que ahorro en subidas vale un motor reparar o un turbo nuevo siempre dije si se frega lo arreglo o cambio y mas de 10 años nunca los quebre
      Ojo sabiendo pisar el acelerador xq al comienzo uni se emociona y gasta mas

    Evening, thanks for the video, I have recently bought this kit (currently in the post) I'm very curious to what your thoughts are on a good all-round afr, 19-20:1 or 20-21:1? Thanks in advance!

    • @DAVO3FAZE
      @DAVO3FAZE  2 года назад

      Depends on motor, load, boost level and alot more factors. The afr vary alot more then a petrol engine. I focus more on the pyro temps and would like to see them never reach 500 post Turbo. That's under wide open throttle loaded for a minute.

    • @tonywharton267
      @tonywharton267 2 года назад

      @@DAVO3FAZE thanks for your reply, If your reading this, 4th gear from 1300 rpm - 3000 rpm I settled from 18-1 down low to 21.7-1 up high afr (hits the 21.7 at about 2200 then starts to drop off to 20.8 ish by 3000rpm) 11.8-12.4 psi doing road test tune. I see by looking at your graphs i have it slightly more on the leaner side, 3 inch exhaust, egts are safe as, no intercooler. I'm still learning by all means but struggling to find what is the best all round afr for a non compensated pump. One small dispointment I have with the dts kit is the slow spool up td05 but overall, great kit. Just noticed my intake manifold gasket is leaking, shit.

    • @DAVO3FAZE
      @DAVO3FAZE  2 года назад

      @@tonywharton267 I focus more on the pyros then the afr's on daily driving. I keep mine way under 500 post turbo and they normally dont go past 460 which I think is on the safe side. Lean is fine, driving syle can help alot to keep your motor happy.

    Hey just slapped the exact turbo on my 1hz. I havent touched the fuel screw im pretty scared to. At around 3k/3.2k it hits psi 5. Im not running a intercooler. I just got a egt today and havent given it a good run. U recommend i turn up the fuel?

    • @DAVO3FAZE
      @DAVO3FAZE  7 месяцев назад +1

      @Slidee haha that's wild nice work. If you look after you HZ it will live forever. I don't know anything about your motor/pump etc but if you adjust your fuel screw no more then I did its a safe amount. Monitor egts very closely the first few times you load it up and you will be fine.

      Of you turn the radiator cap alittle tighter you can usually get a few extra PSI. Make sure your on the dyno and keep ya EGTs in check and load it up on steady state.

    • @DAVO3FAZE

      On the passenger side where the standard oil pressure sender is. its a bit bulky when a T piece is put there so you need to angle the standard unit slightly to the right. The new line can sit where ever fits on your motor.
