      Pneumatic nailers are different to clear a jam.

    Very helpful. I recent bought the 30 degree nailer used like new. It has 3” nails but it’s only driving them 1” in. If the battery is low will that effect the power behind the driver piston? I tried charging the battery but the light blinks red. Charged it for 1 hour put battery back in and when you press the battery button the led light is red.

      Not sinking the fasteners on a new unit is a sign of factory defect (leak). Return it for a replacement.

      The battery does have to be fully charged before first use for best results.

      @@Allenr1967 it’s used but great condition no scratches or dings. But nails only drive 1”. Original owner said he used it to build a small deck. And it’s been in storage for over a year.

      @@ESPNEWS8 definitely needs air refill. If you can do without it for a week or so. Go to the link below and request a free FedEx shipping label to send to the factory service center for evaluation and repair. Just don't mention you received the tool second hand. Warranty is normally to first purchaser only. The FSC will use the serial number manufacturer date code to warranty it if possible.

    Hey man.
    I have an issue that my Hitachi 18v nail gun doesn't feed my nails properly. It will be fine for half a strip then it will misfire. If I put pressure on the mechanism it will fire fine. I've tried replacing the spring with no change. I've cleaned and cleared the front but the problem persists. Do you have any suggestions?

      Take the magazine off and see how restricted nails are to pass through the magazine. The plate they ride on may have bowed out or the plastic magazine may have deformed.

    The drive blade on my Metabo finish nailer has jammed in a position where it is not fully retracted. What should I do?

    • @Allenr1967
      @Allenr1967  Год назад +1

      The driver blade does not fully retract up into the AirSpring nailers like standard pneumatic nailers. The tip can always be seen when the jam door is opened.

      If it is not working or it is displaying the orange error lights. It can be sent in for inspection.

    This happens way to often and is such a hassle. especially when you are in 100 degree plus weather and sweating your butt off.

      The full head version is most more reliable than the clipped head.
