Ah yes Tropical Resort, a great stage to start from a game that's all about planets, aliens that gives you some abilities, an "Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park" and Baldy Mcnosehair.
I wouldn't call it great necessarily, but it's decent. Well designed enough to be fun but I do kinda wish it was much longer. Like this, it feels like a Forces stage but with less direction imho. Still fun but not very creative

Fun Fact, Tropical Resort in Generations 3DS is actually based on both versions of the original (most people just say its based on the DS version). Act 1 is based on the DS version with the Burst Wisp, totem poles that eat Sonic, and the Ferris Wheels, while Act 2 is based on the Wii version with the Laser Wisp, corkscrew loops, stairs that come out when you push a button, and the rail switching.
My personal thoughts on all of these: Sonic Colors: A great introductory stage to the game as a whole. It makes plenty use of the wisp powers and looks quite nice for a Wii game. The attention to detail is really good. Sonic World: The level design looks decent, if albeit empty. However the level is still ugly af. Sonic Generations: It looks good but the level design is lacking. While not as bad as the godforsaken Spike wisp in Planet Wisp, the Burst is a bit of a pain to use, and the level design is lacking. Reboosted Mod: Really good! It managed to combine the various og acts into one really well. To top it off, it even looks better and has brighter colors (ha!) than the original. Soni Colors 2D: It looks really cheap and lackluster. I'm not impressed. Also, why did Sonic Colors DS get no mention?
I feel 2 acts would be better let’s say you been playing a this level for a hour and you’re getting tired of sonic colors but you can’t save the game because it’s one level
17:15-19:38 THIS is exactly what I want for the Sonic Colors Remake/Remaster. Just combine some acts together because I personally found playing 5 acts per level annoying. Just narrow it down to 3 acts and a boss & I'll be satisfied 💕 I even saw a similar Generations mod for Aquarium Park. It was beautiful
Even tho' you covered 5 versions there's actually one more you could have added to replace one of them. The DS version of colors. Emulators do exist for the DS and there are plenty of ways to enhance the quality.
