Which? Cordless Vacuum Cleaner April 2020
Bring ease to your cleaning routine with this flexible, twin battery cordless stick vacuum cleaner from Shark. Glide between carpets and hard floors with the twin tech floorhead, combining Shark’s signature DuoClean two brush-roll design with Anti Hair Wrap Technology, actively removing hair from the bristle brush-roll as you clean.
Up to 80 minutes of run-time*
WithTwin battery model. Charge the removable Lithium Ion battery packs on or off the vacuum, wherever suits you, or charge both batteries at once in the dual charging cradle.
    DuoClean Technology
Glide from carpets to hard floors without stopping. Two brush-rolls work together in one floorhead - a bristle brush cleans deep into carpet pile, while a soft front brush-roll actively draws in large debris, small particles and lifts fine dust from hard floors.
    Anti Hair Wrap Technology
Shark’s unique bristle-guard and comb actively separate and remove hair from the bristle brush-roll as you clean, helping to leave it tangle-free.
    Flexology
Reach, charge and store anywhere. The flexible wand bends so you don’t have to, easily cleaning underneath furniture and folding down for compact, freestanding storage.
    Transform into a handheld vacuum
At the touch of a button, go handheld to easily clean stairs, soft furnishings and surfaces with the handy included attachments. Simply attach the wand in handheld mode to reach up high.
    Anti-Allergen Complete Seal
Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.9%** of dust and allergens inside the vacuum, not releasing them back into the air you breathe.
    Easy to Use
Easily move around corners and furniture with swivel steering and a slim stick silhouette. Signature LED lights illuminate hidden dust underneath furniture.

The biggest issues are the small wheels get tangled with hair and almost impossible to remove. Also, the rubber roller does that remove at all.AND this is where the majority of hair and debris get stuck. Have to do microsurgery with various items to even attempt to remove the crap. If you LOVE vacuuming, cleaning vacuums, and spending more time doing maintenance then actually cleaning, THIS UNIT IS FOR YOU!

The answer to the hair wrapping around the roller in any vacuum cleaner is in my view to make that whole section 'disposable'. Just make it a one-finger button action to have it click out and go buy a 'replacement'. I know I would. Make them cheap and widely available. Imagine having a replacement roller for £9.99 on Amazon that needs replacing every couple of months.

Hi I really enjoyed your video but I’ve a question on the main head there are two tiny tiny wheels one either side and mine are FOREVER getting clogged up and what a nightmare it is to pull bits out ! Any ideas? Also would these getting clogged up affect the performance of it in any way. I gave pets and it’s a real problem to keep the shark in tip top condition also any tips on cleaning the actual dust bucket I think they look disgusting after they’ve been used a few times and you can’t really immerse it in water! Great vacuum cleaner I love it although expensive I wouldn’t be without mine this is my third first I had the rocket then the duo clean before this latest version which I now have.

    • @crazybaker1

Hi the wheels are a pain, but you just have to live with it, the one thing that affects the performance is the pipes and filters if not clean out, I have a video coming out soon, it's about the blocking of pipes and the performance of it, cleaning it in warm water and dry very well, for me I just love the Shark I just wished they made one that's maintaining free it's would be the best ever 😀😀 laters Steve

I hear you ! I use a flat head to gently pop off those tiny wheel suckers it takes 10 seconds (not too hard as not to damage the wheel just put the flat head tool under the wheel at an angle no on it). Make sure not to lose a tiny felt piece next to the insides of the wheels. Remove the hair manualy. Then I assemble it and use a small cross screw driver to make sure both the wheel clicks on both sides of the metal rod where the wheel is held.
I empty the trash, then remove filters, then use an old toothbrush (cut the bristles short to get into tight spots)to take off most dirt. Then I gently scrub soapy water with my hand without immersing the whole dirt bucket thing. And let it air dry 24 hours.

Mine is the same, not really anti-hair at all. That said, hair doesn't seem to cause the roller to seize up which I have experienced on other models.
What also gets bunged up on mine are the little wheels towards the front of the head, just behind the brush roller.
I had a posher Miele one which was solidly built but so badly thought out against hair that once hair got in the roller bearing it melted itself!

Wow, im surprised folks seem to have ao many issues with this. First off, mine works great and its old, that brush is for HAIR, and as anyone with long hair and shedding pets will tell you, hair jams up vacuum brushes, period. in particular, long HAIR, when you vacuum, spools around the head and jams up the bristles as well as making it difficult for it to turn. The longer your hair the worse it is. Traditional brushes, no matter the vacuum require me to get put the seam ripper or scissors to un tangle it every other time i use it.
Pet floof will always eventually need to be pulled out of bristles on any vac too, so those rubbery blades are fantastic. I cant remember the last time i had to flip over my vacuum to perform hair removal surgery.
Also, vacuums are for cleaning, but they too must be occasionally cleaned and maintained.
