TAPE LOOP GUITAR | RESPONSE TO @HAINBACH

I have been eyeing the Casio EG-5 guitar for obvious reasons and was so jealous to see Look Mum No Computer AND Hainbach post videos at the same time! Although I have never done a response video, I felt compelled to make one..even if I didn't have a Casio EG-5...
For this video I attached my Ibanez Rock N Play RP300 tape player (similar to what Hainbach uses) to make my faux EG-5. The guitar is going into the Rock N Play and the audio from the guitar and tape loop are being processed through my pedalboard. For the tape loop I sampled Hainbach's guitar playing in his original video ( • The guitar that tape l... ) and composed my own improvisational piece over it. With the tape player I'm adjusting the volume and speed of the tape loop, as well as running the guitar through the built in distortion and chorus effects on the tape player. At the end the video I put the tape player in half-speed because it felt very fitting and as Hainbach would say - half-speed is best speed!
