NEW 2025 Kia EV6 Revealed

The Kia EV6 is set to receive a significant mid-cycle refresh, aimed at bolstering its appeal in the highly competitive electric vehicle market. This updated version showcases futuristic aesthetics with angular headlights reminiscent of the larger EV9 model, particularly notable on the GT-Line which also includes a distinctive front light bar. Both trim levels sport new designs for the bumpers and offer a choice between updated 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels, although the vehicle's overall profile remains unchanged.
Inside, the EV6's cabin features a revamped three-spoke steering wheel and a redesigned frame for the dual screens. Kia has enhanced functionality with the introduction of a fingerprint authentication system, a 12.0-inch head-up display, and a digital rearview mirror. The update also eliminates the glossy piano black surfaces along the center console, a change likely to be welcomed by many users.
Safety and comfort have also been upgraded; the EV6 now includes second-row side airbags and thicker B-pillars for improved rigidity. Noise reduction has been achieved through quieter electric motors and additional sound insulation. The vehicle supports over-the-air updates and now offers wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard features.
Under the hood, the EV6 transitions to a larger 84-kilowatt-hour battery pack, enhancing its range and reducing charging time. This pack allows the rear-wheel-drive EV6 Long Range to achieve 307 miles on a single charge, an improvement over its predecessor. The refreshed EV6 will hit the domestic market next month, with a global rollout to follow.
