The R5 5500 with the RX 6500 xt is a pairing I do not agree with. The R5 5500 only supports PCI E Gen 3 and stepping up to the 5600 is a very small cost, on amazon right now its only 20 more. That is 10-15% performance lost and you could easily shift that 20 from somewhere else in the build. If you are building a PC do not use this combo.

I definitely recommend getting a bigger ssd. Youre not gonna be able to do much with only 250GB. I recommend *at least* 500GB but even thats pretty limiting. If you can, I would definitely get 1tb or more.
for a budget build of $500 you would have to sacrifice probably framerate for more storage. I agree though you can add some extra $ and get a 500gb one but over 1TB the SSD alone would cost like $80 for the cheapest wich is like 1/5 of the PC cost
@@conquerinn for that budget, 500gb is fine just keep in mind that depending on the games you download, it could run out pretty quickly. @@Underpantswher Very true. But i only say that beacuse you cant really move around with a tight budget of $500, if its around $700 then yeah you can get a bigger SSD. Your guides have been helpful! Great build, I practically built this same exact build last year and have the same graphics card which has been amazing for the price!
I built this pc last year and it's amazing. It handles literally anything you throw at it. You can run max settings on most games besides open worlds. Even in Open worlds (depending on the scale) i can still run medium to high. This pc is amazing, however the price tag is actually higher than he says it is. Also good luck finding some of the parts in todays market, still this is a great build.
One of the problems with this build is the gpu is limited to 4 lanes of pcie bandwidth and the cpu only supports pcie 3.0 which means your gpu will be bottlenecked compared to a build that takes advantage of pcie 4.0
FYI, folks, the 6500XT sits somewhere between an XBOX series s and series x in performance (depending on the bandwidth) I highly recommend you set things up so you you have PCIE 4.0 to get the full potential of that GPU. I’m gonna call cap on on this one the series X gpu is comparable to 6700XT, while the series S is probably between a 6500XT or closest to a 6600. In my opinion the Series S could be an absolute beast of a console if developers actually utilized it to its full potential, and if people and developers actually stopped saying that it’s holding back the next gen capabilities. Thank you for this. Built my pc couple months back and it works well. I’m able to play a game and stream on twitch as well. Great pc for a good cheap alternative price.
for the extra 20$ i would've gotten a bigger psu 650watt for a better more power gpu upgrade down the road. ditch the toy and the cable and there 70$ toward your budget the extra 10$ for the 500 gig ssd would have been a no brainer and 40 $ towards 5600 tbh. 600$ build woul've been prime. also 6500 blows hard. 1650super wouldve been better
How would more intensive games like Cyberpunk or The Witcher run on this PC? Ive been thinking about getting a PC, but basically want something similar to console performance wise for about 500 bucks. Total noob when it comes to PC stuff, so no clue if thats too optimistic
Wait I have a few questions. I've never built a PC but I've been interested for a while now and have watched tons and tons of videos. If the mobo is micro ATX, then wouldn't the case have to be micro ATX sized? Also the GPU you bought here was outta stock unfortunately so I opted to try and get the SWFT 210 Radeon 6600, would this work on this build? If anyone has answers please let me know, I really need some. Thanks! Edit: another question, I bought the id-cooling SE-214-XT argb pcu (processer cooling unit) and its pretty decently sized, would it fit in this build? Otherwise I'd just use the stock cooler that comes with the CPU. Edit: also the total from the changes I've had to make because of stocking issues has raised the total cost to like $690 atm, so I'm praying costs go down when I have the money to buy everything, because money is pretty hard right now. Update: just ordered the CPU because it was on a decent sale so I bought that. Without the sale it's like 160.
The case will need to support mATX (Micro ATX). In general, most medium to large cases support mATX (Micro ATX), Mini-ITX, and ATX motherboards. You may have to adjust the standoff posts accordingly.
@@JJFlores197 another thing, the GPU is going out of stock, any other budget alternative GPUs that would work? I'm willing to pay up to $300 on just the GPU, will take me months to save for it but I'm that determined. I've been trying to build a PC for years now.
if you spend 10 Bucks more for a Fan why not just buy a different and way better case? the Cyclon series are absolute hotboxes no airflow at all, not to mention a Acryllic side panel which is way too outdatet for todays standards. also the ryzen 5500 its not a good pair at all for the gpu since it doesnt support pcie 4.0 in which the rx 6500 xt thrives in. so much lost performance there.

You just killed the performance, of that 6500xt, pairing it up with a cpu that only supports Gen 3 PCI-E.
Built my Ryzen 5 5600x and RTX 3070 build today am loving it thank you for teaching me throughout the last year I’ve been watching you. ❤
Damn that was exactly my build but I changed it to an RTX 3060 last minute, have fun!
building my 3080 and ryzen 7 build tmr when my gpu comes in
@@phizy8595 how did it go?
@@Ty-jh7mr went good bro was hella nervous the whole time building it but i got it done and its working really good
@@phizy8595 lets go
Is it possible to replace the graphics card in the future for something better like a etc or gtg card? I’m new 😂 but just wondering.
Love the build Joey great tutorial as always
Ay can you make a video or short of your key binds/ fav key layout on keyboard ? I’m getting into fps and I feel like I’m stumbling around my keyboard .
After stumbling across your channel by pure RUclips algorithm trolling, i have binge watched almost all of your build tutorials/lapses/explanations, and I must say thank you. Now, I have extreme confidence when it comes to my current build. I have learned so much through watching your channel, keep up the great work!
what is your build going to be?
@@slyvon2016 rog strix 3090, ryzen 9 5900x, nzxt kraken z53 aio, Meg 570s ace max board, Corsair vengeance rgb ddr4 3600mhz ram, stil trying to figure out which m.2 drive I want but it’s gunna be 2tb for sure, and I’m shopping around for a couple fully modular 1000-12000 watt psu’s rn. My case is a lian li o11 dynamic mini. Probably get some extra rgb fans for the case. A fan/rgb controller. Something simple but effective.
same
i just bought a 4080 fe! need a build tutorial for that D:
Really nice build! Just wondering did you have to update the BIOS or were you good to go out of the box?
I’m wondering the same.. just finished the build, but no signal from hdmi cable. Would it effect posting?
@@FiveMCity hey I'm thinking of building this is it good?
@@Cevech yes, update the bios tho. I have not had an issue playing any game. 60+ fps or 100+ in some games, mid-high settings for me is completely fine. I’d recommend putting money into a 1tb card if you play games, cuz I upgraded to a 500 gb and only have 100 left.
@@FiveMCity hey since you built it can you tell me if the cables that he uses are included with the parts( i know the white ones arent ) but is the cable to power the pc up even included?
@@cablobols5972 yes, there is! So no worries
I want to do this build for my first pc but the case is unavailable right now does anyone know what other one I can use
I used the links and it turnd out to be 1600 bro
Can anyone suggest me if this pc is good for video editing?
The best part is how you managed to make an aesthetic PC in just $500. That's difficult man.
Keep up the good work bro 😎
I found another power supply for 47$ since the one in the video went almost doubled in price, but I’m not sure if it will work, it has 550 watts and is cooled by air, will it work?
how did it go?
About 1 month later, that graphics cards is going for twice the cost in the video. This tends to be the usual result when I try to find the items recommended in RUclips budget gaming PC builds.
i would personally get rx 6650 xt and ryzen 5 5600 which has slightly better performance for almost the same price
Thank you for this. Built my pc couple months back and it works well. I’m able to play a game and stream on twitch as well. Great pc for a good cheap alternative price.
Nice vid watching your videos i got a
Ryzen 5 5600x
RX 6650XT
16GB 3200mhz ram
550w corsair tx psu
for the extra 20$ i would've gotten a bigger psu 650watt for a better more power gpu upgrade down the road. ditch the toy and the cable and there 70$ toward your budget the extra 10$ for the 500 gig ssd would have been a no brainer and 40 $ towards 5600 tbh. 600$ build woul've been prime. also 6500 blows hard. 1650super wouldve been better
Do you have any recommendations for what specific kind of 650w PSU I should go for that would fit with the PC Case he chose?
9:07 don't cut the cable!!! maybe you will need it in the future if you change your GPU!!
How would more intensive games like Cyberpunk or The Witcher run on this PC? Ive been thinking about getting a PC, but basically want something similar to console performance wise for about 500 bucks. Total noob when it comes to PC stuff, so no clue if thats too optimistic
Nice video but i cant find rhe gpu on skroutz cuz im greek🎉
Will the 6500 xr fighter still be capable? I want to currently try and build my first pc and with your videos and help you have me motivation to do so
Is the pc you made in the video for sale?
500$.. can play modern games..
i3 12100f = $110
b660 mobo = $110
16gb Ram (2x8) = $50
500gb ssd = $40
case = $40
psu = $50
gtx 1660ti (used) = $120
Total = $520
@@JJFlores197 ok great. Thanks! But what about all the other stuff? Got any knowledge on that stuff?
@@JJFlores197 another thing, the GPU is going out of stock, any other budget alternative GPUs that would work? I'm willing to pay up to $300 on just the GPU, will take me months to save for it but I'm that determined. I've been trying to build a PC for years now.
Crater is a W , no one compares to his greatest
if you spend 10 Bucks more for a Fan why not just buy a different and way better case? the Cyclon series are absolute hotboxes no airflow at all, not to mention a Acryllic side panel which is way too outdatet for todays standards. also the ryzen 5500 its not a good pair at all for the gpu since it doesnt support pcie 4.0 in which the rx 6500 xt thrives in. so much lost performance there.
I am not able to find the case, are there any cases that will work with this pc build?
I don’t know I’ve got the same problem
does it matter if i get this motherboard because it supports windows 10 not windows 11. It did some research and says that windows 10 will be discontinued 2025 which is a lil soon for me. I want mines to last. Can you make budget PC with motherboards that support windows 11 please.
Joey you should do a mini itx build again
I made this same pc about a year ago it was my first pc and I want to upgrade my pc but I honestly don’t know what to buy what is better and what my pc can handle
the computer case is unavaible, can i use all the things on a different case or can you suggest a different computer case?
just recently sold my pc for 400$ and my brother is going to start working so that we can make a new pc. Just have been watching this becuase im bored. but very very cool.
Can I use this fan in the build? CoolerMaster Masterliquid ML240L V2 RGB 120mm for Socket AM4/AM5/1700/1200/115x
I'm glad that you're back, regards from México.
I know this is an older video but I was wondering if you would recommend this one or your new $600 I’m wondering if it is worth it. Fortnite and Valorant
pretty fun watching budget pc builds knowing that I can only afford the cable extensions 💀
Are these benchmarks legit????
do yall not realize that after videos like this are created that prices for these parts shoot up in price...
Was watching your video on the yellow themed build with a 2080 super and clicked on this as soon as it showed up 😂
are we just gonna ignore how some random guy was playing Fortnite and not crater. Btw crater when your in r6 don't move while shooting it reduces recoil same as val.
AAYYEEE HE'S BACK!
