Yo, I notice an editing mistake in the video, it's in the part where you show what's the storage is and it's the total money count. It bump to $1,120 instead of what actually is added. I know many people will notice it since it's obvious but it's fine, I guess (also sorry for bad English, if there's any bad grammar)

I love the builds and its helped exponentially for relearning how to build, however, the lack of actual heavy load game tests really puts me off from certain builds because it doesn't reflect the kind of gaming I enjoy doing. I recommend doing high visual game tests rather than the repetition of fortnite, cod and apex like every other builder does.

This is a good budget gaming PC guide. All new parts for $500 is pretty solid. If you try to copy this build look at Intel arc a380 GPU instead of the Rx 6400 though. It may be better GPU choice for the same price.
Also right now if you want to save a little by using a different case and PSU Amazon has a good deal on Gamdias case GD-TALOS E3 MESH. Comes in white or black and you can bundle a Gamdias 600w RGB PSU the total for both after discounts is $88.
I've done 4 flips recently using the case/PSU combo it's a pretty good deal.

      Cut him some slack?
      Why?
RX6600 or Arc 580 belong there with some adjustments.
There are cheaper good enough cases.
      Cheaper and better AM4 motherboards.
Cheaper and good enough CPUs(perhaps inferior to 12100F , but still good enough).
And cheaper RAM that's about as good as this one.
Can you not comprehend the difference in performance?
Sure,R5 4500 + RX6600/Arc 580 would cause some some bottleneck most likely, but nothing too dramatic and it would wipe the floor with this PC.
Ryzen 3 4100 might introduce significant bottleneck due to being weaker than 12100F in absolutely everything, however it would still devastate this build.

@@GameslordXY I fully understand the lacking performance and features of the Rx 6400 it's pretty much e-waste at launch. Personally I wouldn't put it in the build guide. In my comment I suggested looking at the arc a380 for the same price. I haven't tried myself, and there's mixed reviews, but on paper I'd definitely pick it over the 6400. There's also "New" Rx 5600's available for about the same price but I think they are refurbed/rereleased kinda how they did the rx580 "2048sp".
I will say it isn't the best choice, and it's easily beat with any number of parts combinations. I just wouldn't hate on the guy for doing this sort of video
I mentioned a more budget friendly case and PSU combo as well. There's some good ram substitutes for @ $30-40 as well. I think the last 16gb kit I got was lexar 3200mhz for $34 silicon power usually has some sub 40 kits too.
I don't see any combination of parts you could buy new on Amazon and build using the Rx 6400 for $350 though so I'd have to disagree with you on that.
I'm still a big supporter of am4 and agree with you on using it in a build for $500. I'd probably go with R5 5500 + whatever am4 motherboard is the best value b450, a520, b550 etc.. It would have to support 5000 series out of the box though. I wouldn't expect someone following these sort of guides to mess around with flashing bios.

I've never had a gaming pc and I'm interested in trying it out, but I don't want to spend a ton on one in case I don't like it. I'm a lifetime console player lol. Anyway, most of these build videos test with fps games. I'm more into games like Conan Exiles. I would love to host and play in my own server, probably co-op. Elder Scrolls online and Red Dead online are the only games I occasionally play that I would consider MMO types. I would also love to hook up my Quest for some Steam VR gaming. I love Asgard's Wrath 2 in VR. Would there be any difference in the build for that type of gaming versus these shooters?

Would this machine run Helldivers 2 reasonably well? I bought the game and it's so much fun, but my poor old laptop is about a decade old at this point. It was top of the line when I bought it, dropped about 3k on it because I wanted it to last 10 years (and it's been great the whole time). It's really showing its age though. I can't afford a big PC right now, was thinking of doing something like this. But if it's still gonna chug like my current machine, I'll just grab a PS5 instead. I'd rather stick to PC though. I like that it's future proofed as he mentioned in the video. I haven't built a PC since the 90's, but it looks easier than ever. Back then we were just barely getting into USB connectors, lol.
