What you suggest about getting around the moisture detection by plugging in at boot on the first logo doesn't work.

I need help so I dropped my tablet in a tub full of water and I have this weird mark on my screen but it's like inside the tablet and I can see it. Also, when I start to turn up my volume the the icon doesn't show up so I go to settings and put it up a bit but it it went all the way to max volume without me even putting it all the way up there also I can't take screen shots sometimes but sometimes I can. But all together I need help if someone knows what to do please reply to my comment

What happens if it died while you were trying to get the moisture out?
You'll never know when to chrage it and what not, or just wait a few days before trying it again after dying it
Its having problems from last night its doing this thats still being deteced and liquid and could not charge my tablet
I had this issue this week - it's the charging cord. I swapped it out with an old one and the issue went away. I don't understand why Amazon doesn't just admit this. I went round and round, watching videos, reading useless Amazon blogs. Just get a new, or use an older, charging cable, and the issue disappears.

It's just a glitch. Switch off and leave it for about 10 minutes before trying again. Good luck It worked for me.😊
Thank you, sir. Found an app I did not download on my device. Must have piggybacked on something else I did mean to download. Bug was gone immediately!
I pushed the start button done until it turned off, waited a minute and rebooted it and so far the warning is gone.
Tried the boot and plug in charger after first logo tricked worked for me as well in June 2024. Tablet never got close to water and I also cleaned and dried the port as directed before hand. Even used an air duster to blow air in to make sure it was clear but still got a moisture error until the last step.

This is so weird. The first time this issue happened I did all the things like shook it for 5 seconds, and that stuff but a month later it STILL SAYS IT! I just want to get into my iPad.

I tried like rubbing toilet paper like on my tablet and it won’t work and when I was like charging my tablet, it said the water inside and I kept blowing inside and like just shaking it, but it won’t work I tried everything it still does😢
I watched a few videos with fixes for the liquid detected error message.. none worked.. in reading comments on another tech site I saw this and it worked:
Connect charger, when the check charger alert comes on, leave the charger connected, walk away and let the alert beep for about 30 min till it stops. Unplug and plug in charger .. it'll begin charging... The error msg will probably come back. So you do it again.. I had to do it 3x . It is charging again!
Powering the device off should allow it to charge.
Is it still charging for you after doing that process ?? I was considering just getting a new charger cord.

I recommend you turn on the tablet and plug it in and keep the power button pressed for about 25 seconds until it forces the tablet to turn off, leave the tablet plugged in while it's charging and turn it on on about 25 minutes when the battery has a good percentage, do these steps every time you need to charge the table.

I think mine just picks up humidity from the air at night. Every time I get this message, it ends up being a muggy day. The toilet paper tricks seems to have worked.
Plug in charger and let the detect moisture screen appear . leave it in and it will beep for bout 5 MINUTES IE LEES AND STOP ON ITS ON
