I would love to see Laura cover basic cooking skills. Not live, but just a regular session about the basics... like choosing good cookware, knife skills, deglazing, those kinds of things. I watch Laura with my daughter and it's great because it's family friendly.

One of my all time favorite soups. Never actually had it out, my mom made it homemade once and I’ve been hooked ever since!
I’ve made this at work (fire station) and my family requests it all the time. I’ve substituted ditalini or gnochi for the potatoes and it’s just as good.
Tried this for the first time on my birthday at Olivia Garden and I LOVE it. Cant wait to make this!!

I had this soup at Olive Garden once and honestly didn’t like it, but this video came up as recommended, and yours looked so good, I thought I’d try to make this your way. I made it today, and it’s soooo good! My son said it’s the best soup I’ve ever made. Thank you for showing me what good Italian cooking is supposed to taste like!

Yum! You can also use glucomannan instead of flour if your wanting low carb or gluten free option and still want the slight thickness.

I remake this soup all the time. It’s by far my favorite soup ever. The longer it sits, the better it tastes. It just doesn’t ever get to sit around too long lol. Funny I just picked up their bottled Italian dressing today lol. Soup and salad it is then lol.

About 1.5 tablespoons corn starch could be subbed for the flour if you need to be gluten free. I have celiac and always have good success using corn starch as a substitute for flour in soups. This looks delicious. Thanks for the recipe Laura.

I made this tonight but instead of using flour I only had half and half and it still turned out great! I sprinkled parmesan cheese at the end 😋😋

For Paleo, I substituted the flour with equal parts arrowroot and coconut milk instead of heavy cream. I also made it in the Instant Pot and it was a slice of heaven in 20 minutes. Such a wonderfully simple recipe!!!! Gracias
Made it tonight and it was so incredibly delicious! Tastes like restaurant food for real!!! The flavors are a perfect combination and the broth is to die for. The whole dish looks beautiful when served too!!! Worthy of a dinner party debut. Crusty bread is a must.

Amber Whitley do you still use the bacon or do you substitute it? I have family members who can’t have pork and I don’t know what to substitute bacon with?
You could try turkey bacon as well. If you buy quality brands it crisps up just a nice
