This video show a comparison of the stock cams vs GSC S2 cams on my single turbo Toyota Supra. The mods are exactly the same except the change in cam shafts. The idle is much more aggressive with the high lift/high duration GSC S2 camshafts. I have seen a good comparison of idles before and after cams and wanted to get this video out to provide the comparison. I love the sound of a big cammed Supra.

Sounds awesome! I'm curious does it sound different throughout the entire rev range as well? Did it get raspier when you cruise around?

Wish mine sounded like that with the BC762 it has. Guess ill have to upgrade my blitz nur spec to a 4 inch.
The 4” will open the exhaust up a bit more but the Nur spec is still pretty loud even though it uses smaller diameter piping.
Sounds great. About what RPM is that? Sounds like about 900-950 and a stock clutch?! How is it not having the typical V160 chatter?! I gotta know! 😂 Totally asking for a friend.
Yes the idle is around 950-1000. The clutch is an RPS carbon/carbon twin disc. The trans/clutch used to rattle like crazy until I upped the idle to this range.
@@TunerTestDrive that's what I had to do as well. I've got the triple and I think it's quiet around 1050. I think this is more of an injector thing. I noted I can enrich the idle and the duty cycle of the injectors comes up just a bit over 1% and just like that - a smooth idle. Based off of that I went to with a dual injector setup. I hope it does the trick by doing 1050x for idling and cruising with the 2000s as power suppliers
Did you degree the cams or just run them at zero? I heard this affects lope
I did not, just left it as-is.
