To be honest when Indian speaking Malay, their pronounce very fluently and not too much different with malay slang. Sometimes you get confused because I hv Indian friends and they speak Malay like a real Malay !

Nampaknya, Bahasa Melayu Kumar masih lagi belum 'berkarat' tapi, masih boleh dikilatkan lagi. Slanga anda masih kedengaran seperti apa yg diucapkan oleh penutur Bahasa Melayu di Malaysia. Saya puji usaha Rachel untuk memahami dan bertutur dalam bahasa yg asing baginya, sebutannya juga baik dan tepat. Apapun, Kura-kura = Tortoise, Penyu = Turtle.
It seems that Kumar's fluency in Bahasa Melayu is not that rusty at all. Your slang still sounds like those spoken by Malaysians nowadays. I applaud Rachel's efforts to comprehend and communicate in a foreign language, her pronunciation is good and spot on. You guys made learning Bahasa Melayu a fun family activity. Good job! By the way, Kura-kura = Tortoise, Penyu = Turtle.

I work in the private sector in Malaysia and obviously use more English than other languages. I certainly wasnt gonna let my 11 years of BM go to waste! These days, TV3 stream their news on RUclips as well. You can always watch their Buletin Utama at 8 pm, Malaysian time, to keep up with the language and ofcos the goings-on back here. If you missed it, you can always watch back their recording. :)

@@rynahazreena88 I used to work in Singapore and if I ever came across a Malay, it was like automatic for me for me to speak to them in Malay. The older folk were still ok but the younger ones would request me to speak in English to them. LOL

Perasan tak walaupun kita selalu ckp dlm BM tapi ada jugak terselit satu/ dua English word yg memang susah nak elak contoh : - best, iron baju, check, so, actually, thank you, reverse, vacuum, fish cake, good luck, annoying, etc. Saya tgk Kumar nak cakap 24 jam BM tu ok je tapi mcm nervous nk tgk sbb susah jugak achive 100% BM. HI Kumaar, I found your channel when the coV-19 hits the world and especially in Malaysia. Also have been following your channel since day one. The RUclips just pop up your channel one day out of sudden. Maybe is bcos I keep on searching Malaysia's news and story. There are many people also cannot go back to their country due to this pandemic period. I worked in oversea and haven't had any chance to go back to Malaysia since the lockdown. I miss my family so much. Your channel make my day always. You and your family are nice and lovely. Like watching your channel.
PS : You know what, my Bahasa Malaysia is getting rusty too, may need to have a call with my Malays friends, so that I can brush up my Bahasa Malaysia as well~

terima kasih memartabatkan bahasa dn budaya kita semasa bermastautin di negara asing. Tak kira bangsa, berbicara menggunakan Bahasa Melayu ketika berada di luar negara adalah sangat penting utk membezakan kita drpd rakyat negara yg lain.
pendapat saya saje, bagi rakyat yg berada di Malaysia pula, usaha memartabatkan Bahasa Melayu bukan setakat mencapai keputusan yang cemerlang dlm SPM, tapi utk bersama2 bergaul tanpa melihat bangsa.
P.S.: Minta maaf kalau tatabahasa saya dh merosot dn pencakapan saya dh x beberapa fasih.. dah byk tahun saya tinggal di negara asing tp saya selalunya mengambil peluang utk berbicara menggunakan Bahasa Melayu kalau terserempak dgn rakyat Malaysia/Indonesia yg lain. Meskipun, saya akan meningkatkan usaha saya!
Logesh you say you want doughnut s recipe right. So here I give you the recipe:
Soft Doughnut
Material A
1 packet of dry yeast
2 tablespoons condensed milk
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons sugar
- mix the above ingredients and let it expand
Material B
4 cups wheat flour
2 tablespoons margarine
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
-feit these ingredients until they are like breadcrumbs.
-Then mix Ingredient A and mix well.
-Leave for 1 hour. Make sure the container is closed
-The dough is really soft, but you don't have to worry .. Don't add flour
-After an hour, the dough was pounded to remove the wind. then take a little to grind and grind .. This time take a little flour to grind the mold
-Leave for 30 minutes. Then you can fry.
Then you can coat with icing sugar and serve with chocolate sauce or anything you want too eat with...

Honestly speaking..memang ramai je kawan saya yg Indian tak banyak masalah dalam menggunakan Bahasa Malaysia..cuma few chinese friends je yang agak struggle untuk bercakap dalam Bahasa Malaysia. Tapi still okay la..sebab Bahasa Malaysia tak susah sangat untuk difahami. Logesh pun berjaya buktikan dalam video ni. Senang je Rachel faham apa yang Logesh cakap..so terbuktilah..hehehe..Good job bro..selalu la buat Vlog dalam Bahasa..tak lama lagi pandai la Rachel cakap guna Bahasa Malaysia... 😁

The easiest way to practise any languages when you don't have people speaking that language IS by singing songs in that language, sing good song that you like, learn the meanings, any idioms, words, expressions, intonations or whatever...sing it regularly. You would improve a lot in the language and can apply in casual conversation

This language is useful when you are around the south-east asian region....and not forgetting..it is most useful when speaking with other Malaysians overseas especially when you do not want other people to know what you are talking about..hahaha...keep doing great videos for us to watch!
