Looking forward to the videos. Today was out last day in CO. We did Tincup, Red Mountain, Ophir, Imogene, and Yankee Boy.
We have a 2" lift on our Cherokee TRailhawk. Looks like we may have damaged one of our axles on Imogene.
Do you know what trails you're going to do?
We are going to follow the group from Colorado Springs. So I don’t know the exact plan yet, but I know we are planning to tackle Imogene Pass.
Colorado... You may finally get to climb some real hills!
Lol, Uwharrie National Park had hills too!
@@GotterAdventure spoken like a true east coast guy!
I just bought a 2007! I love it! I won’t do any crazy mods but what skid plate do you use?
@@Bear_in_mind. check out NoLo Designs. They make a great front and rear skid plate! www.no-lodesigns.com/
Love your pilot! I’ve got 235k on mine and love it. But I need to upgrade my lighting. I see you installed LED POD lights next to your winch. How did you secure them in place …was it difficult?
I just drilled a hole and used large fender washers under the bumper plastic. It wasn't difficult.
Let me get them tires for my Honda pilot
You will have to do some cutting :)
rig looks great! cant wait for some good colorado footage-!
Thanks!
Excited to see what those adjustable struts bring, might have to pick up a pair!
I can’t wait to test test them out
Nice! Looks great! Can’t wait for the next videos to come out!
I will do my best to get them out ASAP
I was trying to make it to Colorado too! Thor isn’t quite ready to handle those trails yet LOL
The area looks awesome! I’m looking forward to seeing your plans for Thor!
Good walkaround and it was nice to see how you've been preparing your rig for Colorado. I'm so excited! Looking forward to this trip!!!
Thanks! I’m having a ton of fun building my rig :)
once passengers on board the car will level out
It doesn’t, the airsprings do a good job in the rear
I just bought an ‘07 yesterday and wait to go on adventures with it. This video was very helpful. Thanks.
Nice! I would
Best of both worlds. You're having fun building your pilot and your story telling, enthusiasm, attitude, personality, adventures and excitement all make it super entertaining and captivating for us. Can't wait for Colorado!!! The sliders look SICK! Everything looks so good together.
Colorado will be an amazing opportunity to advertise the channel too! People will be watching you perform and your hondapilotoverland decal sticker will show them where to go. ♡
Oh yeah! I can’t wait to hit the trails!
Thanks for the encouragement!
I what tha set up gor my pilot where fo inguet the rims
Hey buy an early 90’s passport !!! They’re cheap I’m thinking about getting one when I move out soon and have the space end of this year . Since you thinking of getting another rig this would be sweet
That could be cool!
Oh you're going to love off roading here in Colorado. It's like this state was made for it. Especially near Ouray and Telluride, amazing views and a large community. I have an Xterra Pro4x here, maybe I'll spot you and wave 👋
I can't wait! The scenery looks beautiful!
Hey what’s up been watching the channel for alittle bit now, awesome suv and set up love watching the traveling videos. I am currently getting into an 07 pilot exl as well. And was hoping and wondering if you’d thought or have done some beach trips yet ?! I’m an ocean surf fisherman and would love to know if getting my pilot on the beach to do some fishing is ideal and mostly reliable I also wanna do over landing too, I can’t justify getting something 4x4 yet because I’m a big Honda enthusiast and besides the ride line this is the closest we got to 4runners in the Honda’s
I have driven my pilot on the sand several times. If you air down to 16 psi you should be fine. I would also bring 4x traction boards and a shovel just in case.
Interesting vehicle.
Thanks! Not bad for a mom van :)
Colorado will be worth the drive!! The rock sliders look good on there!
Thanks Mike! I can’t wait!
Looking good 👍👍👍 have a safe trip
We will do our best!
Quit question mr Pilot, did your door handles came like that or u painted them ?
They came painted

Anyone what wheels he’s running with?
Check out my other videos for info about my build. I have several dedicated to my tires and what it took to run them. ruclips.net/video/viglDiOegm8/видео.html
what wheels do you use in your honda pilot?
Awesome build! Will you rub with a 245/75/16 at factory ride height?
It shouldn’t
What type of tires/size are om your pilot? And what kind of rims do you have? Thanks man
I have 235-85-16 Yokohama Geolandar MTs on right now. Though I think the 245-75-16 tire size is the best fit for the Pilot. The Wheels are Method Race wheels. Check out my other videos for details.
Looking clean, good work bro
Thanks!
what tire size
235-85-16, but right now I recommend 245-75-16
@@GotterAdventure on stock suspension and wheels?
@@stevog44 Yes, 245-75-16 is a good size for stock suspension and wheels. I am running them now with my lift too.
@@GotterAdventure awesome thanks a bunch🇺🇸
As underpowered as the pilot is I just wonder why ya just didn’t buy a jeep jk. Although Ido admit I love what your doing.
We spent 8k on a family vehicle after our sedan was totaled. I wasn’t even considering off road abilities.
@@GotterAdventure I dig what you’re doing with the pilot. I’m curious to see how well the pilot does with high mileage
@vintagetrk we just got back from the AWD Festival. The Pilot did great as usual. The sliders to a bit of a beating though.
How many miles you got on that rig? I really love my 07 pilot with 193 k on the clock. I really love this vehicle.
We have 294k so far :)
@@GotterAdventure Holy cow. When was your last timing belt change?Mine is at 193 k and runs like a top.
I have changed the timing belt twice. Most recently when I replaced my head gaskets.
