I mean the deck you got into Plat 1 with had 11 God Card cards, 8 Numeron cards, 7 Kaiju cards and lots of staples, so I think you can call it a streamlined God Card deck. All in all nice deck, you built a deck that actually profits from Ra, that's pretty impressive.
Ran something that was just to turbo out rank 10s with a mismatch of trains/eldlich/slime. No one ever expected the otk of either the train combo or a big ra.
1:07:43 The reason Blaze Cannon is always treated as a Blaze Accelerator card is due to the OCG names. Blaze Accelerator is simply called "Blaze Cannon" and the TCG Blaze Cannon is called "God Blaze Cannon".
For red dragons i recommend chaos space to search the baby dragons, and even teching skull meister because the quick play resonator searcher can search it
I wonder if Hardleg will use the Gemini red eyes, I doubt it, but weirdly enough there are more cards in that archetype geared towards Gemini monsters than what anyone would find acceptable, it's pretty much a waste of support, really

Not only does the real card lack the stat gain from the tributed monsters, the life point to ATK transfer can only be activated on normal summon (and isn't reversible). Edit: _and it's an optional when effect, oh my gawd._
His current attack effect can be better though. Use quick play spells to normal summon him in the middle of the battle phase and then run over an empty field with 7900 atk. One of my favorite ways to finish a duel ever
@@kjb5128 Is this how all effects triggered by a Summon work? That _is_ neat, but they could also just make this ATK gain a regular quick effect. This might have been a bit too much in the past, but at least by now it wouldn't really matter. Though, as proven in the video above, the way things are now have some benefits, too, such as circumventing Skill Drain.
During one of the GX Duel Links events, the one revolving around Old Man Jones and the Sacred Beasts... There was an entire section of cutscenes Konami decided to not translate. Then again the yet to be released in the TCG Salamangreat XYZ at launch had no text on it at all... so... eh... this game came out in Beta effectively.

You getting those two blind true names off was fantastic. Just as in the last video, seeing the evolution of the deck was great and insightful, since you always give your reasoning for your changes (also, this had an all important duel against Dark Magicians, too!). This makes the show similiar to what a deck, but improves on it since the deck isn't static and there is an overall goal. I love it and am looking forward to the next episode in a month :D
Seeing numeron OTK reminds me when someone used it against my Flower Cardians. Lightflare hard shuts down that strategy which is amazingly entertaining to watch unfold

1:13:18 CyDra player looks to have had an easy lethal by using Nova to reborn a CyDra, attack with Megafleet+CyDra (2400+2100), then use Nova's effect to banish the CyDra to boost its attack to 4200. That's over 8k damage and Hardleg was only at 6800

Love the God deck. I’ve played pure Egyptian Gods up to platinum 3. Crystal girl is a good tech to search for guardian slime. Ring of destruction is another good tech for some interruptions and to trigger guardian slime yourself
I actually never thought to tech in any search power to get guardian slimes since I usually run 3 guardian, 3 reactor, 3 metal reflect so I have 9 cards I can draw into to make a god slime (albeit in a roundabout way via reactor’s battle phase effect to set and use a metal reflect that turn). Now that I know that’s an option I might revise my deck. Have you had much success dealing with interruptions and negates? I mainly rely on the common truth that 90% of the people I play against don’t know what mound of the bound creator does and will waste resources trying to target or destroy my high level monsters confused why it’s not working.
@@SovekOnivris I run 3 reactor, 3 guardian, & 2 metal reflect for the slimes plus 2 crystal girl and 2 angel 01. It’s still a Janky deck so if they’ve got too much interruption it’s a lose. But if I’m able to set up mound of the bound plus god slime I’m usually in a pretty good position. I also try and save ancient chant to interrupt them building a board on their turn while using sphere mode to break their board on my turn. Maxx C is the only hand trap I run so that also helps to slow them down or let you draw what you need
@@robertavery8527 Maxx C has saved my ass from bricking enough times I have considered running it at more than 1 but every time I do I always draw all of them at once. Has let me summon Slifer with 12+ cards in hand more than once before though. I do run some other hand traps since I feel the deck benefits from whatever you can squeeze. I keep 1 ash to try and interrupt combos and my edopro version was running battle fader and effect veiler at 1 but i never pulled them in master duel and havent bothered crafting them yet. I also found having one emergency solemn is a decent catch all negate since there are enough ways to get Ra out with more than 0 atk without using his effect that loosing half my life is not necessarily a shot to the foot of running Ra. Still figuring out ratios for all the god specific support. having one with the sun god has saved my ass a ton but its a dead draw if you get more than one in hand or draw it without Ra so i fluctuate between 1-2 on a lot of the specific supports for each god.
As one of the flagship archetypes of the franchise's history, Konami has truly done a good job of making the Egyptian Gods representative of their design philosophy, because the whole thing is one of the most Yugioh things ever made. One is a casual format staple, with alot of room for creativity in deckbuilding, acting as a perfect maypole for janky gimmicks to orbit around. The other is a card with history of even competitive relevance behind it, albeit as a footnote of archetypes that ran it as a tech-choice. Then there's Ra, a barely playable bloingle, whose one relevant piece of support is actively hurt by Ra's presence with how it's most commonly played. Not only did Ra get center stage in every wave of support the gods would get (all one of them), the support somehow managed to make the deck seem even more aimless and janky than it already was playing without the support. To turn down the asshole a touch, it does actually make perfect sense why they would focus their effort on supporting Ra over the others. Each of the other gods have niche applications and work generally fine in their respective corners of the game, yet Ra failed to see any of that success, so it's just sensible to put ten pairs of training wheels on the weak link to give people even the slightest reason to try and play it. Not only that, but there's not a whole lot to be done to support the Osiris and Obelisk playstyles. Obelisk is just fine, as long as it has a consistent tribute engine to get it out, which it has in the form of decks like Frogs for instance. Osiris on the other hand is a card based on benefitting from draw-power, which Yugioh has been historically shy to just throw to an archetype in fear of enabling FTKs of every flavour.
When I got into Plat V with a pure Egyptian God deck, I packed my deck with more trap cards (stuff like Torrential Tribute, Ring of Destruction, Crackdown, and Trap Trick) to disrupt my opponent. Ring of Destruction causes damage which can get Guardian Slime on the field and Trap Trick can bring out the trap of your choosing, which includes Metal Reflect Slime. Of course, the Numeron Ra combo is still far superior.
Amazing deck Hardleg, i enjoyed every one of your duels. There is also school obedience build for Egyptian gods with mound of bound creator,or more trap based control deck utilizing joker knights cards(though that one runs only slifer usually).
@@HardlegGaming Your deck kinda sucks there is 10x better versions of Numeron Ra. I saw 80% win rate in Plat 1 and 15 Win Streak with Numeron Ra in Plat 1 in Master Duel Meta
If you're running sphere mode plus a bunch of kaijus then I would reccomend running Owner's Seal. Also maybe consider adding Malefic Cyber End Dragon and some Rank 10s.
I'm amazed we haven't had retrains like "The True God Slifer The Sky King" " This Card's name is always treated as Slifer the Sky Dragon You can special summon this card from your hand or graveyard by tributing 3 monsters, can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects, gains 1000 atk for each card in your hand and on the field if your opponent normal or special summons it loses attack equal to this cards current attack also its effects are negated and if it's attack becomes 0, destroy it" There Konami, that's a free idea lol

If you're running sphere mode plus a bunch of kaijus then I would reccomend running Owner's Seal. Also maybe consider adding Malefic Cyber End Dragon and some Rank 10s.

There is the Arcana Knights God support, using Thunderspeed summon to tribute summon Sphere mode using your opponent monster during their turn is fun.
