Hes super inconsistant witht he timer. A kot of the time especially in the beginning hed set it so low he could barely finish his turn for decks he knew. Other times hell shoot it to 900 seconds but both have complained that higher is better unless their only chance at winning is time out lol
its standard for snake eyes, the deck is just good enough that they can run 20 HTS and do fine. you saw he opened nothing but going 2nd staples and passed on 4 interactions + birth engine live on followup. plus the idea rn with deckbuilding is that even if you do brick on hand traps your still playing with multiple interactions, and can probably still get a win depending on the opps hand.

I realized why I get hooked on Sam’a video. He’s not the best ygo player for sure but he’s good enough and very entertaining that both new and seasoned player can actually enjoy his content. He also does well if he’s with other people.
What I learned from this video is Rogue decks and under strive for best of 1 duels. Once the opponent knows what you are doing it gets difficult because they know what to check for.
something i'd like to see in duels with these meta decks, could call it a restriction or a challenge is that they can't use the same moves. what i mean is, if in turn one in duel 1 you summon a searcher you search a card and do this long chain of combos and get out 5 boss monsters, in duel two if you play the same searcher you can't search the same card you searched in duel 1 turn 1, same thing goes for any boss monster you special summoned. It'd be a challenge because it forces these decks to actually do other strategies then doing the same combo over and over. also the boss monster lock out just prevents you from doing the same thing that turn, you can summon your boss monster in another turn. It forces the duelist to actually think and do different plays then the same ones over and over again, plus it shows what the deck can actually do, besides 1 repetitive combo that everyone uses because its boring so if in duel 1 you xyz a monster out or link a monster out and let's say in duel 1 turn 1 you get link kuriboh out your first turn, in duel 2 you cannot summon link kuroboh your first turn even if you are just gonna link it away you can't, you either have to link another monster or wait I like to think it's nuzlock yugioh style. It forces you to use your brain and think of different ways to use a deck and maybe use other monsters in your extra deck instead of just using them as material fodder for some bigger boss monster its turn locked and if these decks are as good as people say they are then it shouldn't matter what they search or what they special summon or if they have to wait a turn to bring out the ultimate monster in their extra deck, or they can't xyz or link summon 3-5 times on turn one
Jessie's deck building and yugioh knowledge far exceed Sam and Seereax combine. That's why he's always topping YCS. Unless you take the format to way back, then Seereax might have a chance of winning against Jessie in a duel.

Dion could add more board breakers like Forbidden Chalice, Lightning Storm, and Evenly Matched… there’s not much else that can be added to clear the boards and recyclable summons

Seereax really inspired me, to not afraid to slowly work up my deck building skill and actually put efforts into making lower tier decks into playable
