Just take a leaf blower and blow all that crap out @ :40 after cutting the grass, don't leave it on there and its best to use the wash port after each mowing before the clippings dry.
You can get replacements. Just look up washout port for John Deere. I recommend the oem, but they have universal ones as well, but I haven't tried them personally.
@@deuceliter thanks. No leaf blower. Isn't there something I can buy to get the hose to attach to that cleanout thing on my deck I have it all the way up as my pasture grew so fast with all the rain it's choking my mowing deck out. I've pulled out so e but can't get a pole or hands on the other side of the deck as it's way too low for even my small hands and arm to get underneath
I added a couple links in the video description for Husquavana mowers regarding the washout port and the coupling quick connect. I believe this is what you are looking for!
@@deuceliter I undid the screw then walked over to my next-door neighbour and yes he got it pulled off the other day and yes I put better than W 40 and when I cut the grass yesterday then put that connecter on it was a lot easier then, when I was finished, it was a lot easier to pull off 👍 so good to go 😀
I use my leaf blower after ever mow to get most the debris off my deck and mower. Makes for less cleanup at the end of season
Leaf blow and wash top and bottom EVERY mow.
Excellent presentation.
Thank you!
Thanks! Super easy to follow too 🎉
No problem!
I have had several lawn tractors over the years and have yet to need the headlights.
It's not necessary, but it's just an extra step if you're really cleaning it up.
Good advice thanks👍
No problem!
Yup I clean my all the time. After I'm done with them.
thanks.
i have this on my mower and was curious what it was supposed to do...and how.
Great video. Informative. Thanks.

Great tip!
How would I clean out my mower deck? It doesn't have a cleanout port.
I have a hole, do I have to Jerry rig a adapter or can yiu buy them.

My large huquavana does not have that part you attached to the hose. How now do i get all this ceap grass off my 54" deck
Lift the deck to the highest position and spray it out the best you can. It's best to blow it out after every use with a leaf blower if you're able.

I can’t take that thing off the mower to Connect to the hose 😡 rrrrrrrrrrrr !
Hopefully, you got it off by now. Spray some lubricating oil like WD40 on it. Probably has debris built up inside. 🤞

This guy is clearly married. He's hiding in the garage.
Haha, happily for the last 10 years!
