-Stainless Works Longtube Headers (2 Inch Primaries) (All Clips)
-No Cats (All Clips)
-(Corsa 3 inch Double Helix X pipe) or (AWE Tuning 3 Inch H pipe)
-Corsa Track 3 Inch Axle Back (All Clips)
LOUDNESS LEVEL
H PIPE
Interior - 10/10
Exterior - 10.5/10
DOUBLE X
INTERIOR - 7/10
EXTERIOR - 10/10
H Is louder just by a little bit so I gave it another .5, but both are so loud it's painful.

The double X actually sounds so much better than the H pipe. With the H pipe, it was hard to tell in the videos, but it sounded horrible at anything below 4k rpm. Even up top it was a little bit unrefined, but it sounds crazy on video so the internet may not understand. If you want to run a H pipe, either have cats or mufflers. Both setups can be a bit tractor like in the low rpms + lots of clap. Just the typical catless stuff. Alot of people seem to confuse high pitch with rasp. I actually think the H had more rasp. By rasp I am referring to the metallic "clappy" noise under acceleration.
Update- Below freezing temperatures are here, and it made a pretty big difference in the sound. Not in a good way. Might throw a resonator on.
My top 5 Exhaust setups on this car so far.
1-LTH/Catless with 3in double x and Corsa Track
2-LTH/Catted with 3in H pipe and Corsa Track
3-3in H pipe with Corsa Track
4-3in H pipe with Corsa Extreme
5-Corsa Extreme Catback only
1 and 2 are very close
Nothing with the 2.5in H made the list sadly. I didn't really like the sound of it. and the muffler delete only was just eh.

@santstravels yes fully. I figured that would be the best comparison. Each midpipe has different rasps at different rpms, and mufflers and resonators seem to hide certain resonance associated with an x or h pipe.
@@anotherred5.092 i wish I could have your sound (legally) but just a bit quieter! Here in the UK we have a stupid OPF which makes it a fair bit quieter than your US spec cars.

God bless those who make exhaust videos in forest roads, it just enhances the exhaust of the car by A LOT! Only thing I've heard sound as insane as this is the E92 M3 and its V8, both exhaust notes are great tbh!!

H-pipe for me all the way! The X-pipe sounds too much like a European V8, such as AMG Mercedes. The H-pipe keeps that all-American classic V8 sound. However, they both sound great on the Coyote 5.0--one of the best V8 engines ever manufactured.
That upshift with the double x pipe got me wanting a mustang for a second car 🤤🤤😮💨😮💨

I've got the corsa extreme with the double X. I can tell she absolutely screams, but it's difficult to get a good listen unless you're outside of the car. Makes me want to buy the double H just so I can swap between the two whenever 😂

I had a 15 gt with a x pipe and borla touring mufflers. Sounded good, but a little raspy.
My 19 Bullitt with a h pipe, and factory active exhaust is perfect for me. Sport mode, deep, loud, and no rasp. Just right.
No x for me.
H pipe all the way. Sounds deeper and throatier. Double X adds too much rasp.

H does sound better it's deeper less raspy coyotes are raspy anyways x pipes just make it worse. Just because it's louder and rapier don't mean better lol. People today mistake loud and raspy for better. Too many guys who can't think for themselves going x just because others do. H always sounds better on anything imo.

Double X pipe flowed on a flow bench by me. Outflows a straight pipe up top.
760cfm for a 3in straight pipe. ~800cfm for this double x.

I have the mbrp race catback with the h pipe. I wonder if a corsa extreme with double x pipe would be louder.
The corsa extreme will have a way better tone but it most likely won't be louder because of the mufflers. At idle and shit it would be way quieter if I had to imagine
Double x would be quieter, but may seem louder because of its higher pitch.
The x is just closer to that frequency that pierces your ears more. But different mufflers/resonators can change these characteristics.

The rest of the exhaust is stock right? Do you have active exhaust? Wanna get the double X pipe but I still gotta be able to listen to myself think while I commute to work
No it's no mufflers or cats. 3in straight pipe all the way back. The active exhaust would be a good option though. That quiet mode would help alot.
no resos so its gonna be louder and raspier than hell i have LTs hi flo cats H pipe and 2 vibrant bottles and its loud but it cleans the sound these 5.0s are already a rasp factory
