Autodesk Inventor - Design Accelerator Gear Box

- In this Autodesk Inventor video tutorial, I show the modeling process of a gearbox driven by a motor through a V-Belt. All the components are generated using the very powerful Design Accelerators of Autodesk Inventor.
The Design Accelerators in Autodesk Inventor let you or place standard components with a lot of intelligence, sizes, calculations, easy placement, etc etc

In the Autodesk Inventor tutorial I'll show Shaft Generator, Bolted Connection, Bearings, Spur Gear Generator, Key Connections, V-Belt generator and Frame Generator.
In the end I show a cool animation of the whole machine working, all done in Autodesk Inventor.
The entire video is speeded up by about 30%, to reduce video time.
This is absolutely awesome. In 13 minutes I've learnt more than in few weeks of blindly trying to do this myself.

Hi Lior, I placed the motor as a subassembly, speed of the motor is controlled by a drive constraint. The power however isn't possible to control in the assembly environment. You can only do that in Dynamic Simulation within Autodesk Inventor.

Great Job, You are the best modeler I've seen on you tube, if I want to make my own gearbox to follow along with this tutorial does the bearing journals need to be a certain distance or will the spur gear design calculate the distance?
Hi Aaron, I'm fine thanx :D. My laptop has 16 gb of ram and it has an i7 processor & an NVIDEA Quadro 3000. I noticed your graphics card isn't Autodesk certified, check your inbox to see where to check that. If you use certified graphics hardware and correct drivers, will improve performance a lot, keep in mind that this video is speeded up about 30% to reduce time. Further, make sure you create your own (small) content center library. Hope this helps, performance problems can be complex

Gut gemacht, aber der Durchmesser der Achse der Spannrolle am Langloch sollte größer sein, da sonst die Last in radialer Richtung m.E. zu groß wird (Lochleibungsdruck). Trotz Schrägverzahnung sollten noch Distanzbuchsen auf den Wellen neben den Zahnrädern sein. Die mit dem Schraubengenerator erstellten Schrauben am Gehäuse sehen so aus, als ob die Scheiben nicht aufdem Flansch aufliegen.

Hello how are you? what are the characteristics of your cpu and gpu? runs extremely fluid, I have 8gb of ram to 1333mhz, AMD Athlon II x4 640 and Geforce GTX GPU = 2 Sc 660 - SLI and did not run as smooth as you would appreciate your response and help.
