Autodesk Inventor - BMW M5 Rim DesignTutorial

- In this Autodesk Inventor tutorial I've created an alloy Rim, globally based on BMW M5 dimensions. I use only common Autodesk Inventor features, so this makes a great model for beginning Autodesk Inventor users. Autodesk Inventor is used for the entire model, in the beginning I've placed some renderings from Autodesk Showcase, but as you can see the renderings from Autodesk Inventor itself are very good as well. In fact the ambient shadows in Autodesk Inventor look very good and are very fast to apply to your model. I show how that's done in the end of the video.
In this Autodesk Inventor Tutorial I made a mistake during the video.... I cut it out using video editing software. I'm wondering if anybody can notice it, do let me know if you do.
If you have any questions about this Autodesk Inventor tutorial leave me a comment and I'll try to reply Хобби
Your video is nearly 18 minutes, but I spent 4 hours pausing and rewinding but was successful at creating a wheel of a similar design. Now I will repeat the process at least 3 times till I am able to recreate another wheel in 20 minutes. Thanks for your video showing how a professional quickly works with Inventor.
Thank you for this tutorial. I made this BMW M5 Rim. I had a little trouble with the solids to combine and cut. So made a new solid and did a new intersect.
Jan I’m having the same issue with cutting the holes
i am an alloy wheel dealer. i am very interested in your tutorial video. i think i can learn to be a designer by this wonderful footage. thanks for your work, NiMa! love you!
When you do, don't forget the air valve hole...just a minor useful detail
Thanks for sharing and for not ruining the experience with some annoyingly loud music.
You know, you could just mute it?
@@616Metalhead616 Thanks for the hint. I had no idea if there would be some commenting by the author for the video, or not. There are instructional kind of videos on youtube, similar to this one, with music (useless) and comments by the author running at the same time. Your suggestion ain't helpful for those, is it?
@@AGT0M You didn't say anything about music + comments.
And for music you don't like, i was just sayin' that you could just mute it. ^^
And i know these videos with just music, some is good, some is shit.., if i don't like it, i just mute it. Done.
But you're right with the thing with too loud music + comments!
that is amazing .. i was not even know this programs existence but now i think i need to learn it
너무 고맙고 고마운 영상이네요.....이런거 올리는분들 정말 고맙습니다....또 고맙습니다...저같은 학생에겐 너무 소중하고 중요한 영상이네요..많은 동기부여도 되고, ㅠㅠ
I'm over half way through this tutorial. Loving the results.
I followed this tutorial. It has really been a great help on my way to improve my abilities in Autodesk Inventor. This tutorial made my day :)
Nice tutorial. I just finished my wheel :) I used Inventor 2017 It looks nice. Step by step and everything seems easier.
One additional notice. For better final effect for us(users using your tut) you could update link with wheel cap.(or show us how you did it :) )
Great video, I wish you add some more tutorials :D, thank you.
Good video, the interesting thing about 3d is knowing how to mix and match the different tools that programs offer us.
At last, a BMW rim that's easy to clean!
There is a weird curve on the screen. Bang! It's a wheel. Then it's filled with some random-shaped staff. Bang! It's a surface. More operations with angles, lengths and other parameters, which don't look like something we'd expect to see. One click and it's an ornament.
Can imagine myself drawing the whole thing consequently, line by line.
This makes me feel so stupid! I'll have to watch the video and others multiple times to try get better than I am!
Thanks for the great video and inspiration!!
That is an amazing tutorial !! Thank you.

Super en dank je wel voor je uitleg. nice!
unbelievably well explained...to the point, no wafsofte wafsofte chat...you´re the dude ..thanks!
Very nice. I'm going to have to use some of those tricks.
I work a bit different, but this is as good as any. Only "tip" would be to try to do the pattern at a later stage so you have less commands in your tree. It's perhaps not needed here, but at larger projects, having like 40 different commands instead of 20 is a living hell. Good work with the splices dough. I hate those. So hard to get right.
PERFECT !
Looks Great
This is amazing Technic of making Rim, that was sooooo coooolll I started making some stuffs on my channel.
This video was very helpful like the ones which does not contain voice. We have mouth for eating, not speaking. I guess there is no need to explain something or talk or make watchers feel comfortable. That is incredible beneficial to us
