15:40 I've gotten to this point flawlessly, the inner ring rotates with the ball and no constraint gives any error. Once I use the circular pattern option and get the 8 balls instead of 1, the inner ring is stuck, it doesn't rotate anymore, I'm a noob and I'm out of ideas tbh, can anyone help me with this?
Your video's are great, but the constrain at 15.07 is wrong. Now the ball will rotate with the same speed as the inner ring. This isn't the case with a ballbearing.
you are right, but then again method shown here is technically closer to how actual ball bearing is built. And as such perhaps more benificial from point of learning how to build ever more complex working assemblies...

I'm beginner in Inventor, and for me this is very strange concept of work. Do you have always to create parts individual and then join them over assembly option? For instance how you develop something, when you have more parts and of course you have to measure them and make correlation between them.
So I drew all the individual parts accurately. Now when i came to the assembly part , each part scale is different from another. I don't understand what I did wrong. I followed each step of this video. Has anybody went through something similar? if so, please tell me how to fix this. I really don't wanna re-draw each part again.
Check your dimensions , it tends to change when you want to create another part , so always take note before you start , or better still instead of selecting part , just create new but endeavour to save under the same folder and select all parts while saving so you don't miss anyone out

I liked the tutorial, however you said one thing like use xz axis and actually picked a different one yz which made me go back multiple times and review the video to find what you really did. So your 20 minute video ends up taking much longer.

You talk too fast - SLOW DOWN! You also don't explain what must be clicked or what must be held down to get a command to do something. - the inner ball, once it is placed how do you rotate it? If you had said hold down left mouse button and cursor on inner cage to rotate, then everyone would have understood that.

Why don't you download Fusion 360 for free? The computer requirements are much lighter than most CAD programs.

We can mirror the cage along the plan as well right?
i think u can use mirror rather than put 2nd cage, and constrain it with first cage on XY Plane

you should mate the x,y,z origin axis with the inner ring x,y,z axis
