With a 25+ mph high wind condition, where would you position anchors for guy lines. On a recent beach trip I positioned my anchors where the guy lines would be directly into the wind, with the wind-facing corners supported from falling back, and the canopy squared to the wind. What happened was that the cross-support between those two wind-facing legs and wires began pushing in and bent the bars. Nothing terrible, we can still use it. But I will not place that side into the wind again. I probably should have placed all guy wires at a 45 degree angle to each 90 degree corner. Here, I imagine opposite corners pulling on each other. Thus suring up all supports evenly. Just like the pictures show. : /
A A keep in mind, I used plenty of pop up canopies in the more traditional style that just constant taking a beating and want to fly away. Those are the ones I really wanted. My father in-law got me this one instead, and not until I tested it the same day, did I realized how good it was. This design I really like now...more aerodynamic. Don't get me wrong, I plan yo use the stakes or weights when possible for stability. Let me know how it goes.
How is the height? Can it go higher? I mean adjusted to go higher then shown? Want to use it for car detailing. Have some lifted 4x4s with 3" lift with racks and such.
Things made it helped me. And I had to helpers so ours was a little easier :-)
