Why this channel?
I plan to show you how other nepenthes growers from around the world grow their plants on their windowsill and grow tent.
If you are interested and want to show us your plants, contact me so that I can set an interview.
(All you need is a recent smartphone and a good WiFi, I'll take care of the software).
Happy growing everyone!
Remy.
Looks just beautiful !! Humm where can I do that in here?😊
Sorry, I forgot the links ;)

Remy, show us your helis!
haha I'll try to make a quick video but I'm not a Heliamphora expert ;)
Fantastic video! These DIY projects are great.
Thanks, I wasn't sure people would like it because it's not really plants ;)
@@WindowsillNepenthes You made a great project, that helps the plants grow, and creates a realistic environment indoors! Very cool and informative. I'm lucky to live in a climate where my few plants can be outdoors, now you got me thinking "beyond the bamboo stick" and into something like this wall or landscaping. Truly well done!
Hi Remi! I see my photos here once again! soon I will release a video on Veitchii that I shot in the same place. You will get a closer look to those climbing beauties! :D
Yes, for sure your picture is great I know I'll never see them in situ so you make me travel!
Who knows.. maybe one day you will! But in the meantime I am happy to share my adventures :D
Man im just imagining those neps enjoying nice light, high humidity, warm temps, and then just looking outside to see the chaos that is Canadian winter 💀
Very nice Remy! Thatll be sweet in the coming years for sure! All my iechii are pretty small, but will try this as well, when the time comes. Ill have to figure out how to do this in my growtent🤔
On Pegboard?
@@WindowsillNepenthes there you go,and hang it from the top, brilliant!!!
how big (sizes or/and volume) is the pot at 3:32 ? :)
Those are Square Pot - 1 Gallon (5L)
Again an exceptional video! 🌟 An out of topic question. I made the great step into caring for a N.lowii.
During the day I keep it in a terrarium, maximum 26-28oC under 14h of led grow lights, a small computer fan for air circulation and a humidifier, keeping the humidity >60%.
At night I put it inside a small 4lt portable peltier fridge with a build-in thermostat I installed, keeping a stable night temperature of 15oC, with little spaying to keep humidity >95%. In the morning I put it out again on the terrarium.
The question is: for how many hours do you think should I let the N.lowii inside the fridge at night?
P.S. the air does not circulate inside the fridge, it's a closed system, thus I provide a couple spays of pure oxygen gas inside the chamber before putting the plant in, in order to help the plant respiration at night. what do you think?
Thanks. 8h is good 👍
Do you believe that the plant will be sufficient in a close environment for 8h? (in terms of oxygen-co2 balance)@@WindowsillNepenthes
@@giovannicole5561 I don't know but I think so.
Again thank you so much for your reply! Maybe it would be a good idea to also make future videos of constracting an ultra-highland chamber, and spotlight videos on notoriously difficult species, such as N.lowii, N.villosa, N.macrophylla etc.
Thank you again from your massive contribution and inspiration to the community. Greetings from Greece
I just got 2 new truncatas. Do you have any tips on truncata care
It's really not different from veitchii, maxima, etc. It's just really slow 🦥. My substrate is well drained and the plant doesn't stress when the substrate is on the dryer side.
I know this is completely different than the video but I’ve been looking for a nepenthes burkei and I don’t know where to find one do you know where to find one?
Actually I believe I got mine from Brad but it was a long time... Where do you live?
@@WindowsillNepenthes I live in Colorado
is that lamp only for lighting or is that a growing light
Grow light. ;)
didnt know they climb , all species ?
Not all species but they are vines so they try to climb. ;)
