Even though it is not made traditionally (realllllly hard to do and requires 7 people for 7 different jobs) you made the sword elegant and beautiful by itself
Thank you for understanding! Not to mention the time! It may not be traditional, but most modern knives and swords are made by stock removal instead of forging.
@@JumboRadish indeed you must of put a LOT of time into the well crafted sword itself and In return a beautiful piece of art I doesn't matter what you make or do you can always make it beautiful
@dsa0224 I'd say if he was deeply determined, he could do it.
It also takes days almost 2 weeks to get a really good traditionally made sword like that. Pretty good even if it's not traditional
1095 High carbon steel was the closest we can get for Traditional Katana with modern Steel. Traditional Katanas have around 0.8%-1% Carbon content with 0.01% manganese, approximately the same as 1095 steel. I think a full 1095 was even better than combining 2 types of steel like the real katana, because it will homogeneously spread the carbon throughout the blade.
I love Ghost of Tsushima so much you did an excellent job making the Clan Sakai Katana👍
This is definitely the coolest sword yet, really clean cuts!
I like how you upload frequently more and this is a fantastic katana making, I was thinking on starting to play Ghost of Tsushima.
Play it, it’s amazing
Sure I don’t have a PS4 or PS5 but I heard it was gonna be released on PC so I might start playing it

You could make jetstream sams murasama!(metal gear rising revengeance) The red blade would look so cool!
Definitely plan on making his soon!
The one I’ve been waiting for. There it is !!
One of the sickest katanas if seen in gaming
beautiful 🤩🤩
Dude, I have been waiting for this sword
FINALLY I’ve been waiting for somebody to make Jin’s katana
I want to buy a ps4 just to play this freaking game
Now it's Available on Pc too brother
Such skillful craftsmanship AND artistry. The way you freehanded the painting on the tsuba and saya was glorious.
Thank you!
This turned out beautifully
That’s a beautiful katana 🤙
Love it so much the design so insane
You guys did pretty good considering what you had for tools and steel. I'm honestly impressed.
Wow, it looks great! Can’t wait to watch your next video!
Still so cool I love the looks but I really want to see you make enma with the saya I would be so cool
I know! I feel like the scabbards are just as iconic as the swords for Zoro. I definitely plan on it.
@@JumboRadish bro thanks so much I'm look forward to it
This is the best sword ever but it need a small tanto combo together
I know, there is nothing as cool as a Daisho!
Yep i have a combo homemade daisho made from old aluminium with steel junk with white coth ito
@@JumboRadish IKR!?
That sword turned out amazing. A samurai would be honored to use a sword like this.
Another katana I would love to see you make is the rivers of blood from elden ring. All in all, keep up the good work.
If you haven’t beat Elden ring yet, I could help you beat it, I’m on my 4th play through
It looks so simple when you got the skills :) Great work!!!
Awesome video and beautiful sword!!!
Guy with the glasses has really good edge aligment. Those cuts look like they just went through air, and the tatami mat fell.
Great work 👍🏻 great video, thank you for sharing, God Bless All ❤️
Great job!!
Beautiful katana.
This is one of my favorite just bc of all the extra little details
It's turned out so beautiful😍
OMG... love it man
Excellent blade. :)
It's so cool. I applaud your passion for this katana!
I guess your soul is in this katana.
日本人として嬉しいことです。あなたの刀に対する情熱を称賛します。その刀こそがあなたの魂の込められた一振りなのですね。
Nice blade work love the katana my favorite sword
Awesome work
ghostrunner sword would be so cool, i recommend making izanami
The length of the katana is improving ngl keep up the good work dude, on in all this was the best work ive seen.
Thanks! I have been trying to make more historically accurate blade proportions.
Oh, I loved the game! I used to play it 24/7! Now I'm currently playing the multiplayer one and I might get the Iki island DLC.
Beautiful workmanship.
That was absolutely amazing brother, very skilled, love it
great sword, very beautiful handle
Ya me preguntaba cuándo harían la Katana Sakai, pero al fin llegó, se ve hermoso.
You took a lot of shortcuts and still ended up with a better blade than most. Honestly, ceramic cast iron is hard enough to do and it's even harder when you consider its be used only for the fuchi, tsuba and kashira. I'm incredibly impressed by your beveling work. To do that with a 1lb hammer on the anvil part of a BENCH VICE, takes patience and skill. Very good work and great job starting with good spring/tool steel.
Nice n' sharp!! The katana looks great 🤩🤩
The Jumbo blade turned out amazing!!! It surprises me that when sharpening the blade, when the blade is very thin, does it not burn your fingers???
I want one, please😍
Keep the good work up with cutting and making katana
Jumbo is goated
I liked it is a work of art
These are fantastic an excellent weapon seeing your work makes me want yo play the gost of tsushima
Great job greetings from México 🇲🇽 HAJUA
Sick 👺👍
Beautiful katana
please make a vampire hunter sword D, i think it's an interesting project
Good job man!! 👏
Nice katana, very similar to my *Yamato's* katana
Really nice work!
I'm not a gamer, too old at near 50 lol and never been any good at them; press this and that button, and by time I look I'm annihilated, wasn't born with patience. Fantastic video as always and learnt a lot from your videos, since I wish to have a basic hobby forge someday soon. Happy to be a new Patreon member friend.
I am loving it keep up the good work love your vids :D.
This is my fav katana yet. Keep up the amazing work. -your loyal subscriber
Good work👍
i wish you could make a video dedicated more on tuska making and ito wraping, tying the not is not something often shown on videos
amazing
Beautiful
awesome!
Thanks For making My Favorite Game Main Sword
Certainly well done. Very well made :)
A lot of youtubers when they make katanas leave out the sheath, that part i dislike. I think katanas when made, should include the sheath.
great cuts
Pretty nice work, I would suggest you look into heat treating the sword. One heat and one quench like you did could make the sword too brittle.
Amazing.
wow…so cool…❣️✨
Awesome.
You guys are awesome man I love what you guys do Beautiful piece of art what do you guys are doing keep it up I Nice sword from the ghost
This is definitely my favorite of all so far!!!
To create such high quality weapons at a young age. How old are you two gentlemen by the way?
What are the dimensions of the sword?
Keep up the excellent work guys!
Thanks Steve! I'm actually older than you think...I'm 33! As for the blade, I've been trying to make more historically accurate Katanas (with a good amount of profile taper and distal taper). It's a little over one inch wide at the base and a little under an inch at the tip. The blade is about 28 inches long. The handle is almost exactly 12 inches.
HENGKER-SASAN
good job mister well done
Finally, i was waiting it for a long time.. Thank you so much, i very happy to see this video.. Arghhhhhh.. Thank you!!!
Bro you finally did it 🥹
I love Katanas
Beautiful 💯❤️
i would love to see a video of you making a very plane style of katana but showing and explaining on what you do
This may not be a traditionally made katana but I still have major respect for your work.
Thank you! And yes, definitely not traditional
Очень не плохой меч, сделанный практически на коленке. 👍
I was wondering if you could make kakashi hatake anbu sword or the one he had as a kid, and I love this creation it is very accurate to the game and you are improving so much
I many seeing katana making... But most differently making just this channel...just not making channel... U give us name in all that sword parts to make us more know katana ❤️
Limited tools, the poor mans anvil, the poor mans hammer. With such little tools you were able to make such a fine sword.
Cheap it may ne, but ugly is it definitely not.
That is a fine sword my man. Great job
Thank you!
I wish I had that much equipment to make such creations
Thank you
I want to say that you should definitely make more scabbards if possible
My favorite katana ❤❤❤❤❤
nice!
As always, amazing video, dude :) Also, what kind of ban saw is that? I'd like to eventually get one thats powerful enough to cut through metals :)
very nice
I know that your sword's skill is better than other video .
That's so cooooool
Jumbo I have a question why do you rarely make Saya 🤔
You guys have great talent and I was wondering do you guys think you could make Lord shimura's blade along with the other sword kits from ghost of Tsushima it would be so awesome 👍👍👍👍
I didn't really notice until later but did you not put a hamon on the blade?
Apart from that the sword looks amazing it's basically identical to the one in game.
finally bro 😄😁
This turned out amazing, how long did this project take all together?
Love your videos man, happy I became a Patron! I can’t wait to see what you do next and I want you to know that you really inspire me to start getting into sword making.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!!
How heavy is the hammer you use? Also I see your cutting technique has improved. Love your content man!
Que genial ooo
This is great! If you don’t mind my asking What thickness of steel do you typically use on demon slayer blades?
