The map looks tiny until you start exploring. The shit is huge, I played around 30 hours on the bottom part and still had fog all over the map lol.

Hot tip: you can use photo mode to check the current time of day, zoom in on camps from afar, and freeze time to plan your attack.

Its pretty much a guarantee that we’ll at least get dlc based on how well the game sold day 1, plus pretty much zero outlets gave it a bad review. This is literally a game of a lifetime for a lot of people.

That tells you how many ppl just did the story and didn't explore the map. I'm in act 3 and just now fully covered the first section of the island. And I still didn't complete all the sidequest.
I’m actually really hoping they do something similar to god of war. Have an NG+ mode but have new items and rewards you can only get from doing things in NG+. Some new armor sets, swords maybe even a legendary ability.
@@Mrock116 I've done all of the main and side quest, upgraded everything to max and have finished all of the exploration points in about 4 days. So their are probably people like me just wanting more to do, at least an option to reset all of the enemy camps like in the farcry games would be cool.
This game is massive. There's so much to do. Some people were like you can finish the main story and side quest in 30 hrs...hell nah. More 60 hrs

For anyone like me who missed some of these and got locked out during act 3, there’s a way to get back to region 1 and 2. You must swim around Fort Kaminodake and unlock the Sago Lighthouse fast travel point. Once you fast travel to Sago Lighthouse, you’ll be able to jump over a fence and back into region 2 territory.

A new game plus would be so nice, they could go further a little bit adding armors from later medieval japan periods such as sengoku, a dlc it would be cool but the first mongol invasion was really quick to do another story set in the period, so I think at least the new game plus and new armors would be cool, I know its to soon for another game but a ghost two set in the second mongol invasion would be a dream

got 100% completion on this game, it was really fun and story was pretty good too, I just wish we could have the option of new game plus and/or reset mongul camps.
What I miss more than anything else is a possibility to repeat the duels.
Hope you saw, but recent update introduced a Game+ feature where you can replay the game for different cosmetic collectibles. Plus online multiplayer cooperative mode.

Random thought but I think it’d be reaaally cool if they let you pick different outfit perks and put them on a set outfit. Like if you want the perks of the kensei and sakai armor on the ghost armor
that would be OP af. I would put the 30 percent more melee dmg from the ronin outfit with the major dmg boost from the saki and do like truck loads of dmg
They done that on the spiderman game it makes sense sometimes you really like an outfit but the perk not so much or vice versa

Trying to complete a main quest. Sees a yellow bird follows sits in hot water, hears a cry for help. Does side quest to get cool charm, on the way back gets lost finds an enemy fort.

Its interesting to find out that you can get the flaming arrow from one of sensei ishikawas side quests, because I got it from a different quest. If you do not complete that quest and instead do the legend of black hand riku first, it will give you the flaming arrow when you enter the cave.
I wish they added a Mythic tale that allowed you to duel wield your Sakai Katana with a second Mythic Katana that you find. Sort of adding an extra variation to your stances.... but that’d be a lot of extra work to create an entire 4 new move sets for the stances.

I didn't read the details of this game. Someone told me it was gonna be open world. It had my curiosity.. Then, I was told it was gonna have side missions and things to do, similar to the witcher 3. It got my attention.
I bought it on impulse. Now a week later, I still haven't beaten it because I'm too busy with side missions and exploring. Now I'm hooked. Best game I've ever played, hands down.
Dude same I wasnt initially all that impressed from its first reveal but a youtuber I watched posted a stream of it and after 1 hour into it I knew I had to get this game.

I find this soo cool there are like 2 ac Easter eggs in this game. For example one of the abilities is called the hidden blade and there is a charm called charm of the hidden blade

Will you be taking screen captures using photo mode in this game? I find that its one of, if not the, best looking games I've ever played. I would love to see pictures from the community and their different armor combinations!
Know I might be late on this one, but during the curse of uchitsune quest, at the point where it asks you to find the island. On the west to it you can find the mending rock shrine. Funnily enough I tried bowing to the frog statue cause the a sign with the bowing emote symbol and suddenly frogs. A whole shit ton of frogs spawned out of nowhere. Also the charm you get from the shrine is pretty useful as well. You get the charm of okuninushi which allows you to recover health while out of combat.
Some players they only cares about who first finish main quest and upload it to youtube to make a profit. They don't bothered to explore at all. For me I enjoy this game so much, I'd actually not finish explore the first map but i max out my techniques by just doing mongols or bandits killing on highways or at the forest. I learned how to make my combat more exciting. As Ghost of Samuria play style.

The multi arrow charm is awesome add on. Shoots 3 arrows and will even hit more than one guy if they’re close enough. I think this is my favorite game or one of my tip favs

The heavy arrows from the longbow als pierce through helmets, so good for headshots for enemies with these.
Maybe if they were to make a DLC they could go back to Jin's father and being able to play as him and experience the war with the tariwaka clan and other things. And learning more about the older samurai like Lady Masako, Lord Shimura etc. Soo much they could do.

Honestly I surprised myself and when I checked on psn profiles I was among first 30 to get it and that includes people who got the game as a review copy before it officially released but I played like 3 real good sessions I think then I had it probably like somewhere between 30-40 hours and I played on hard but difficulty wasn’t really noticeable tbh

Those two charms together actually create a 65% chance of posioning an arrow in total. 15% initially from the first charm + 50% for the additional % Increase charm. THAT'S why it feel significantly o.p. compared to just using the 15% chance to poison arrows charm. Very cool, though my first playthrough isn't really very fun using archery. I think I'll do a completely Ghost playthrough for my 2nd one.

Can one combine “the way of the flame” with “the dance of wrath” to get an overpowered attack

If you knockdown an enemy, if your quick enough, you can dodge roll, then hit jump while rolling over the knocked down enemy and hit jump, you will get launched crazy high (seriously like 3-4 times higher than you normally jump) in the air and be able to perform an execution/assassination with the square button even though you are in combat.
Damn should I save the side stuff in act two for after I unlock way of flame in act 3? Looks dope

the reason it wont is because the lazy ubisoft style open world collecting the banners is as bad as the flags in Ac, all the needless grinding and crafting, locations that need to be checked off, the boring side quests that give good rewards it is all very AC Odyessy feeling, also the "powers" i kind of wish the game and combat had a more realistic approach

Wish there was a way to reveal (defog) the map without needing to traverse every inch. Like a map vendor or something.
Liberating all the mongol controlled areas in each section will clear the fog of war and put question marks on undiscovered locations.
clear all enemy bases in an area if you do that then all the fog will be lifted and all question marks will be revealed making it easier to find shrines, hot springs etc..
As you travel wear the travelers attire it will help you uncover more fog faster

im having more fun with this game that any other game thats come out this year easily..actually i cant remember when the last time was that i enjoyed a game this much..and i play a lot of different games.theres just so many different things that are close to each other and about the time you master one group of battle tactics the upgrades make you change up your play a bit.Sucker Punch did sooo good on this game and im pleasantly surprised.they mixed in so many open world encounters together that it keeps everything fresh.i knew the game would be good but with the bit of gameplay they teased i didnt think it would be this deep.creating Haiku is like being an ancient rapper!LOL!awesome game!
I’m sick of streamers posting spoiler ridden thumbnails to get clicks. It’s honestly trash and ruins the game for those of us that want to be surprised.
That’s why I don’t watch any of these spoiler videos until I’m done with the game. Because yeah it is so annoying
@@youtubeconnollyfamily well, the person is talking about the thumbnail not the video. You could be just looking at videos in your phone and you suddenly come across a big spoiler thumbnail and title.

You dont have to complete the blood mission to get the bow. I did it waaay before that mission and zero katana upgrades. I would agree with the sword upgrade, the last fight is tough
Heres a neat tip for a new players, its better to practice dodging all attacks rather than tryna block most and dodging the red attacks. Once you can perfect counter a normal unmarked attack then the rest will become super easy. There are charms later in game that make perfect parry and dodge chances much easier.

Dude Heavenly Strike is my go to "OPPS" button, and "how you like me now?" button. If you fk up during a fight. Like... let`s say you strike a spearman with the wrong stance, and he deflects. At the same time a swordman is about to lunge at you (or 2 or 3, and an arrow is coming for you, YES!) as you recover, or about to enter recovery -> You can Heavenly Strike and cancel into the animation. it goes off ASAP on targets near you! You avoid incoming damage because it gives you I frames. Unlike the Dance where you can take hits as you setup the move. You can even Mix up your combos with it, it`s just an awsome early special, and it makes the game flash, even more. In boss fights it`s my charm :) Really helps me alot in lethal, given i have the resolve. Since i`m playing on kurosawa I try not to use bows, blows and bombs. I standoff and swordfight as much as possible while playing. Shooting elevated archers in the head is fine for me, that`s kinda it. Other than that, the game is amazing, You are amazing keep up the good work.
