Great explore, very intriguing to see the condition it's in! I am local to the hospital but haven't set foot inside, just peeked in a few windows. It's crazy to think 30 years ago parts of the hospital were still operational and housing people. My mum worked in Bronllys Hospital a few miles away in the kitchens and on Fridays (I think) they would venture up and treat the patients to things like fish and chips. From what she's told me it didn't sound pleasant to visit with people shuffling up behind you making odd sounds and everything. After it closed they did keep parts open as sort of industrial units but it became a hotspot for vandals and the like hence the police signs about, cameras and shit graffiti.
Thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate it 👍. It was such an interesting explore and I always wanted to do it! Just the size of the place, not to mention the history!! I literally loved it!!. I'd imagine it was a tad on the eerie side with what you said about the patients sneaking up behind!! Unfortunately as with most abandoned places in the UK they often fall victim to vandals and thieves
Loving your content & explores Darling ♡ especially this one ♡ Creepy cool old school ♡ I wish I had somewhere to visit like this near me but bugger all round this way so Thanks for the explore :-) Keep safe & look forward to more of your adventures :-) ♡♡
Thank you so much, really appreciate you watching 😀. I usually have to travel to explore now. This was a good few hours away but it it a really cool place to explore
The cellar areas were originally coke stores for the two boilers before they were converted to oil fired. The silos as you refer to them would be tanks for 35 sec heating oil for the boilers after conversion.
My great grandfather spent five years there. 1919-1924. He died there. I have a photo of him taken at the hospital. His hands were bound to stop him hurting himself. His eyes were so sad. He is buried somewhere behind the church in one of the mass graves.
Thanks for the comment, that's really sad to hear! I can't believe there are mass graves behind the church, this is insane. I thought it was strange that there was no grave yard
Hi mate I explore there every month and yes you are correct your grandfather is berried in a grave underneath 6 bodies and I'm sorry to here that but if you go to the tunnels and take the left side there is a record of every "victim" there
@@UrbanUncoveredUK hi mate there is a record of all the "victims" in the tunnels so go into it take the left and keep following it on hope this helped but it is very ereay
When I went there in Feb most of the right wall was gone in 1:37 My friend ended up touching the wall in the room to the right at 50:06 and its plaster completely crumbled and fell of the wall the room you ended up going in saying it was eiry
Yeah I think this place is on its last legs now. It's been left for such a long time that it's bound to totally cave in one day. Thank you for watching, I really don't it 👍
Fantastic video! I'd love to explore this place soon as I work for Bronllys Hospital after moving here from England. Can you tell me please if you can park close to the site? Thank you!
I visited this unusual place not to long ago and was amazed by it I didn’t manage to get in because some clever person smeared heaps of poo on the windows so it was inaccessible 😂 but I did manage to get in the church basement which was very creepy and the church inside is in great shape compared to the rest of the site bit of shame to see a lot of waste rubbish from kids lying around
Yeah I heard about this. I didn't gain access through the windows, after going around the parameter I found a hold in the fence. But yes it's in a sad state ☹️
My Granny used to work at Talgarth Hospital in the 1940/50's. They used to play small cricket on the lawn opposite the church.
Dude, awesome video! Me and Kerry are very impressed. Is there nothing you can't do?! Keep up the good work
AHH thanks guys for your kind words I really appreciate it ❤️ 👍
Another Top Video pal 👊 Really enjoyed it, very interesting. Keep up the good work. Hope you and the family are all good.
Great explore, crazy that something thus vast has been abandoned for so long
Thanks mate, I know!! I couldn't believe it was still there and you can still actually walk through it
@@UrbanUncoveredUK looks quite busy with the locals driving through too
Yeah it was mate, busier that I thought
Hi, a very sad location just for what happened behind closed doors.
Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤

Surely there has to be something somewhere

Thank you so much for watching. You can park directly out front no problem
I explored this place in 2012. The amount of decay and ruin in 10 years is extensive. It was in a terrible state when I went in. Much worse now.
Yeah it is massively decayed now, I would have loved to have explored it when it had first closed down
How did you get in I was there last week and couldn't find a way in
With A thorough look around the parameter fence you will see
