Most UK Asylums follow the Kirkbright plan. So your behind the main Admin Block and where the 2 corridors meet. This allowed both male and female to meet. The other side is often where the kitchens are with corridors going off to the blocks.
Such an awesome place, the size of it is off the scale! Sadly it does look more like a victim from the blitz, so much damage. As for the old man, think he's deemed himself to be 'king' of his own asylum & gone mad himself 😬 Loved seeing the Evo again, such a beaut 👍

Epic, 4 times ive been there only ever met the old dude once, Screamed at me, lovely place, we actually had an over night stay in the clock tower, well cool, Deffo worthy of a watch haha, Cracken video my brothers, Keep em coming...
I have pics of my old 900 turbo done outside like the Evo 😊 my mate had his business there just round the corner to the right, the old workshops. Used to do odd jobs there when I needed cash, had to walk back through the wards/corridors to get to the loo 👻
I was last there 8 months ago and I can't believe how the roof over the big hall has almost collapsed😢 I first went here 18 maths ago before I had my youtube channel, It starred my love for Urbex. Sadly on the day I encountered the fruit loop farmer. He was vandalised Talgarth more then anyone. He even pulled a gun out on female explorers once. The locals dislike him too. My only regret is I never got in the church. 3 times I've been. I've heard houses are being built here, the farmer won't know what to do with himself. 12:23 would steel insoles (and filter masks for that safety matter) be of any interest to prevent that? Besides that, this video isn’t the definitive Talgarth experience but treats it with a respect rarely seen. Asylums have a bit of a problem with how they are perceived, because you often see people either wedging paranormal into everything or making it out to be an evil place of torture (which has an element of truth to it with the c. 1950s experimental treatments), but these were in equal part communities where friendships were made and genuine efforts carried out.

The old guy is old enough to be an ex-patient or inmate. It’s not unusual for some to return to these places, especially if they were long term residents.
