We know they die at the end, so that would be a bummer. Still both Harry's and Neville's parents escaped Lord Voldemort 3x, so there could be stories there. But the only one we got was some silly story where James and Sirius were fighting a Death Eater in an alley or something. They should have done a series for Harry and the gang after Hogwarts, joining the Auror Office. Too bad, because if she was with them it would be more interesting.

@rockabye274 most of them are a little too focused on progression, edginess, or something else superficial. But the Krakoan era of the mutants are my favourites ever, with Storm as regent of Arakko, interesting with Magneto, etc.
@rockabye274 i just had a really vivid flashback to when xmen red came out a few years ago and the eco t*rrorism with Nature Girl is the exact kind of comic that isn't interesting to read since it's too rooted in modern politics lol. But sometimes it's a bit more nuanced like the main Xmen line

Regardless of what you think of the Avatar storyline, you can't deny that it will be a visual spectacle that HAS to be seen in theaters. No one does it like James Cameron.
But she needs to express it in a way that the softies don’t get offended. Just like how all the actors on the other side are so respectful to those with differing opinions.
I want Denzel character to push Shuri to see what type of leader she will be. And to help Shuri become the avatar of Bast. Because as of now that connection is gone.
The second avatar was bad. 2 major plot holes(spoiler alert) 1) the idea that the military guy leaves his leadership role. As a military leader he should know that staying and moving the family elsewhere for safety makes sense from a military stand point. 2) in the end the final battle-where our hero tries to rescue our prisoners-the rest of the tribe seemingly disappears without warning or reason. Major plot hole.
Yep. She's very good at starting discussions and doing in-depth breakdowns, but I frequently disagree with her regarding the overall quality of streaming shows and movies.
Watch Grace gaslight the watchers about JK Rolling, she started saying about all the hate that JK is saying and than says see what I mean she is derailing the conversation. Learn to separate art from the artist.
JK. Rowling has so closely tied herself and her name to the Wizarding World franchise that’s it’s impossible for ANY media produced from it to be wholly separated from the things she’s said and done. It’s not easy to separate the art from the artist when the artist’s name is all over the art
@itsalex412 Stop listening to what she says, and just watch the books you like come to life. What do characters that are already written from beginning to end have anything to do with today's politics .

The Storm factoid that chat was a little confused by was that Storm IS a mutant, but has an inborne potential for Magic (that she never utilized in a large enough way to be called a sorceress) because she comes from a long line of African High Priestesses. That's why she's able to often use or employ magical artifacts to a better degree than any random other person. Nightcrawler is the same (or was) because of the whole Azazel connection, though now it's been retconned.

Storm’s only connection to Black Panther was as a love interest, so her being in BP3 heavily overshadows Lupita’s character. they should have just made her Storm, maybe they still can but they’d have to twist some of her backstory. they could do it, I guess for whatever reason her powers manifested like way later in life than mutant powers usually do.
Isn't Lupita Nyongo dating Jodie-Turner Smiths ex husband Joshua Jackson? I am sure it wouldn't be an issue, but seeing them both on Black Panther would be cool to see, lol! I don't think that the Acolyte failing should be a problem for Jodie-Turner Smith, she wasn't expected to carry that series on her name.
I personally did not appreciate Denzel using the black community's resources for Glen Powell, who has not gone on to return the favor or even earnestly acknowledge it. I'd also like for Grace not to speak on behalf of the black community in regards to their relationship with black women, but especially as it concerns the political system in America, which is heavily biased in favor of black women. Nina Turner speaks about this eloquently, and Grace, as well as others who are interested, can learn all about it, if you chose to. The election results didn't happen in a vacuum.
I believe that our new Black Panther will time out nicely with the introduction of mutants and can see Storm as his love interest. Wouldn’t it be an odd twist if Washington was Magneto? Not saying this is what I want and i also don’t want the mutants to steal too much thunder from Panther.
If Denzel is planning on retiring after Black Panther 3, than I don't think he's Magneto, who will hopefully be a character who sticks around for long time in the MCU. Though, I do agree about things lining up for Black Panther and Storm. I want to see those two together
Grace, have you seen the post election surveys that say that the (so called) trans issue was the number one motivating force to vote against Harris? You noted you lived in a bubble in your video after the election. This topic is something else you've been put in the dark about. JKR's stance IS the mainstream. and her position is the norm, not extreme.
@@JustMe-dc6ks What bigotry? Trans women are not women is not bigotry, it's a fact; trans men are not men is another fact. The world has 8 billion people on it and only a small percentage in the US deny the facts the rest acknowledge.
That 'bubble' realisation came and went very quickly. As much as I love her presenting style and energy, the reality that her channel is a weird LGBTQ and DEI bubble seems to escape her a lot of the time. Especially when it counters her talk about 'business'. Mainstream audiences don't seem to want what Grace thinks Hollywood, Disney and DC should be selling.
@@JustMe-dc6ks It's not bigotry to say trans women are not real women. There's no erasure, just an assertion of fact. The reality is that of the 8 billion people on the planet, only a fraction of a percent believe that and for JKR to state it and be called "hateful" is to call the bulk of humanity hateful.
The JK Rowling controversy is tricky, she does have a lot of my sympathy bt at the same time it is pretty frustrating how determined she is to fight this battle. It is also worth mentioning to US critics, Rowling is not American, she's from a different country on a different continent, with an entirely different perspective on womanhood and women's rights in general, so I believe this informs much of her way of thinking. The UK is not like America where the Trans controversy has largely been relegated to red state conservative types, it's still a very divisive issue on both sides, and several other notable feminist intellectuals have come under fire for saying things similar to Rowling.
The Rowling controversy is the simplest thing in the world for anyone with common sense. A man who wants to be a woman is a trans woman, not a woman. It is very simple.

Very sad to see that the topic of trans rights has become “tricky” or a “minefield” to talk about. Trans people deserve to live. Jk is against that. Plain and simple.
What exactly did J.K. Rowling say about trans people?
We all want to learn so please can you link/direct us to one direct quote where she has said that. Where JK has said she doesnt think Trans people should be allowed to live/be alive?
Many thanks
@@OakSkySo much. Hatred against trans people has become like her main thing. It's very sad :( Her Twitter is full with it. The women's rights group she is in is very anti trans.
She is absolutely not against them “deserving to live”. She is not advocating for trans people to not exist or be killed. You are sensationalizing her view and you most likely know it.
For me personally, the trans community lost me when they began transing children and forcing me to approve of the lifestyle. Do you boo, but I have a right to have nothing to do with you if I choose.
No they don't
Jade Cargill would make a good Storm.
Jk Rollins opinion isn't hate ..
It is if she doesn’t want a group of people to exist which is what she suggests sometimes
@@octodaddy2553 She hasn't remotely suggested that ffs.. She just wants female spaces to remain for biological females..
@@dannicatzer305 exactly. what is so controvertial about it. locker rooms and sports should be used according to you biological s3x.
Edit:
republicans spent like 70 million in Pennsylvania for this kind of ads alone. and according to a Pew research survey 76% people in US agree with it.
@@dannicatzer305 I would believe you more before the Imane incident but it’s clear she doesn’t actually care and is grifting for attention and profit. Since that’s the new wave now, it should be easy to spot but clearly not. She’ll keep parroting her piece until the drapes uncover itself more and more
@@dannicatzer305I agree. India has a third gender that trans and intersex people come under. That is how Rowling sees it too imo.
Black Panther teams up with Blade.
LOTR, Harry Potter, Gladiator (per your last review) etc. all did well because they had a clear evil. Let Jimmy have his evil fire Na’vi
Speaking of Snow White. Grace what do you think of the Daily wire doing there own Snow White
They're so hyperfixated on str8 ⚪️ representation, it's sad. Not all Americans look or act the same. Their other films are abysmal lol.
Daily Wire, Ben Shap can gf themselves to be clear.
@@tjk3430 amen
I haven’t seen Anora yet (I’m excited to!) but I actually thought Mikey Madison could make a good Harley Quinn (I’m mentioning this since someone in the chat had the idea of her playing Wonder Woman).
Try Mia Goth as harley quinn instead
Good movie
Grace you gotta catch up on the Xmen comics. Storm has magical origins now on top of the mutation
Grace doesn't seem to enjoy many comic books these days. I don't know if that's just a trendy response to "modern" books or she genuinely has problems with them.
Hey Grace!❤ just a heads up, if you didn’t realize, your Quality is unavailable for a few of your livestreams, since you updated your camera. So it’s very low quality. It might just be Apple devices though, 🤷🏻♂️. No disrespect, just want the best for the BTT family.
Miles and Tchalla are two different character types. They would not be confused.
Happy birthday to all
Thinking about Avatar, the first film was mostly based in “Air.” The 2nd film was based in “Water.” The 3rd will be “Fire” and 4th “Earth”! I was like 🤔 The last air bender in concept but minus the powers
Regardless of what you think of the Avatar storyline, you can't deny that it will be a visual spectacle that HAS to be seen in theaters. No one does it like James Cameron.
JK is sticking up for what she believes.
But she needs to express it in a way that the softies don’t get offended. Just like how all the actors on the other side are so respectful to those with differing opinions.
@@DarkSpartan062she got people calling her Hitler. Screw those people. They do not want to hear reason. I hope she never bends the knee to them.
I want Denzel character to push Shuri to see what type of leader she will be. And to help Shuri become the avatar of Bast. Because as of now that connection is gone.
Samuel Jackson is going to be upset! Denzel beats him to Wakanda, lol
Grace take a look at yourself around 53:53and on, the sunset behind you makes your hair look.... ahMAZING!! (chef's kiss!😘🖐️)
With the exception of T'Challa there is no other black male character more important/impactful than Blue Marvel but BM should be an actor in his 30s
They should make a Founders Harry Potter show that’s dark and medieval instead of a reboot ✨
Honestly , I'm so mad that she hates tralier for Mission impossible 8 very badly
Yep. She's very good at starting discussions and doing in-depth breakdowns, but I frequently disagree with her regarding the overall quality of streaming shows and movies.
I thought was good. I liked Dead Reckoning too although I think they overreached with their "villain"
HBO should have done a prequel about the 4 founders of hogwarts. that would have been so much better
The “awesome uncle” comment 😂😂😂
Nicole doesn’t open films. Cruise is seen mainly for action films. Leo & Denzel will get box-office support from all films.
The sunset lighting reminded me of the tv show Touched by and Angel. Talk about a blast from the past.
Watch Grace gaslight the watchers about JK Rolling, she started saying about all the hate that JK is saying and than says see what I mean she is derailing the conversation.
Learn to separate art from the artist.
Hitler was once a painter. Is it okay for people to praise his art?
JK. Rowling has so closely tied herself and her name to the Wizarding World franchise that’s it’s impossible for ANY media produced from it to be wholly separated from the things she’s said and done. It’s not easy to separate the art from the artist when the artist’s name is all over the art
@itsalex412
Stop listening to what she says, and just watch the books you like come to life.
What do characters that are already written from beginning to end have anything to do with today's politics .
@@_Just_Another_Guy sure
@@_Just_Another_Guywhy not? Besides, Rowling is not Hitler so you're good.
28:10 that Chadwick photo just made me cry.
The sunset behind you looks so beautiful Grace! 😍
I’m 33 mins into the stream and the conversation about Denzel is all about identity politics. Recent events have shown most people don’t care about identity politics - we’re over it. Hollywood needs to focus on making good movies for the audience. Not for one specific group.
@@brandenmccarney5065 every single project has a target demographic. If people outside of that target enjoy it, they're gravy. But it's clear you're not a writer, painter etc otherwise you would know; nothing is truly made for "everyone" otherwise we would only have those stories successful.
@ I’ve never had a stalker in my comments. Keep them coming! Creating a good story should be top priority. Not pandering to different demographics. It never works.
Wonder Woman is supposed to be a goddess
I don't think I want Denzel playing a Wakandan, he should play an American character.
Nightcrawler is the same (or was) because of the whole Azazel connection, though now it's been retconned.
lol Hannibal was not black,,, just stop this nonsense. I wouldn't mind seeing Denzel do the role as it's not my history being black washed but just stop with the weak justifications.. He was descended from Phoenicians who founded Carthage, Phoenicians were not black. You think the backlash from Cleopatras black washing was bad just wait till you try and black wash the Tunisians national hero..
JK owns the series.
Deal with it 😁
King Kong has nothing on Denzel!! As we all knew already. This is great news.
Contrapoints broke open and analyzed jk rowling so well
Why people is mad with JK for saying facts, I do respect everyone but Transwoman are not women, they are Trans is not the same, that is all she Said, grace you are the one derailing the conversation just talking about it, you could focus just in the show, come on!
This lady is insane
Choose the bear account name is wild 😂
I got it in the mail, thank you Mr. Musk 😂. Red One and shopping is free this weekend 😂
Grace, I am excited to hear Mr. Washington will be Black Panther 3.
Storm comes from a long line of witches. So the MCU could take it there if they wanted.
Rupert Everett is telling everywhere he dreams to play Dumbledore!
I wanna see Denzel be a good guy and have a good fight scene...
Us black men never planned on voting for Kamala lol that was your narrative. Plus she is indian
Well said 😅
You rather voted for a guy that called the countries your ancestors were violently takes from „shithole countries“ and wants to stop education about slavery. Don’t expect any rational person to understand that
BROTHER VOODOO??? Could easily be a villain that Wakanda and Namor would have to team up for.
Lupita Nyongo not playing Storm is such a massive missed opportunity. She would have been fantastic!!
Grace is neutral as long as it doesn’t involved the community (lgbt+) of saints
Storm is an Omega Level mutant? And a God? I want to see her use her powers in space. 🤣😂🤣😂
Stay golden, Ponygirl🍁
This was such an unexpected comment I couldn’t help but laugh out loud lol
Denzel would make a fantastic Moses Magnum if they're going the villain route
Mikey Madison would be better for Zatanna or Raven imo. I dont get how people are fan casting her Wonder Woman
Needs to be a tall woman. At least 5'10" tall.
Can we talk about how avatar is just copying the last airbender and im 90 percent sure he will just make them evil
you geek out too hard on cretain culture topics. Not wanting Denzel as a villain is weird of you.
😑
I legit cant believe Im an Avatar stan, lol
I believe that our new Black Panther will time out nicely with the introduction of mutants and can see Storm as his love interest.
Wouldn’t it be an odd twist if Washington was Magneto? Not saying this is what I want and i also don’t want the mutants to steal too much thunder from Panther.
If Denzel is planning on retiring after Black Panther 3, than I don't think he's Magneto, who will hopefully be a character who sticks around for long time in the MCU. Though, I do agree about things lining up for Black Panther and Storm. I want to see those two together
They could do a Sirius Black Series then Do a Story about Regulus black his brother who turned against the the Dark lord.
Bigotry is bigotry.
💯 percent
