- I still need more Frostpunk in my life. So how about the hardest scenario I can think of: extreme difficulty Endless mode on the Rifts map? We'll be starting on a small little platform in a ravine with limited access to resources and space while simultaneously preparing for several waves of the Great Storm. Sounds like the perfect challenge!

i dont understand how pravus has played this game so much but still hasnt realised that a single basic coal thumper does NOT NEED FIVE GATHERING POSTS
they can only handle 2, which is why the coal pile ran out earlier
Pravus seems to have taken a handful of smooth-brain pills recently.

Seeing the discontent get so high multiple times is really nerve wracking. Especially when he opens the Book of Laws and you can see Moonshine just after the Public House. It's honestly hilarious yet also stressful having seen a lot of this series and Pravus somehow forgetting when/how he has to unlock Moonshine to lower the discontent. Look closely at rough 26:00 and you'll see it.
Not sure if Pravus noticed it due to having to balance a way to get everything prepared for the Storm but hopefully this helps with trying to lower discontent. This is a great series and I really don't want to see it end so early since I really enjoy the Frostpunk episodes.
man imagine this happening in real life, I mean frostpunk is a brilliant game but just put yourself in the shoes of one of those workers or engineers literally working yourself to the bone for survival, quite different from our comfortable life now. Sometimes it's nice to stop and be happy for the little things we have like the clothes and freedom we enjoy every day.
Imagine surviving weeks working half freezing and living on soup and still watch all your friends and family get sick, frosted and die because the mayor forgot about steel.

Running home from the frostland actually takes a lot less time than going away from home. So you could've maybe made it to the dreadnought.
Its not just returning home, but as long as you have been somewhere before, scout speed is increased by 50%. this means if you have Old Lighthouse (fake name of course) 12 hours away, and Pornhub Penthouse 1 day away, with the lighthouse inbetween, you can cut 6 hours off the trip by going directly to the lighthouse and then to the penthouse after that. using pre-explored locations to explore faster is really damn handy

Pravus is the only Forstpunk player I've seen that has Discontent that close to full
In my opinion having a consistent source of steel is BY FAR better than having temporary piles of steel. Not to mention that the platform with the iron deposit has enough space for coal thumpers and gathering posts. Taking that action Really Grinded my gears.
I wonder when Pravus will learn, that when you are sending scouts to discovered places, the travel time takes less than to undiscovered.
Last game was fun but too easy, glad we're back at suffering.
I think a critical mistake was not securing the steel before building other services.
14:30 Your mistake was looking at coal gathering when there was still other stuff to gather.
Of course Coal+Other Stuff > Coal.
Also the Wiki and everyone else says *two Gathering Posts per thumper* is the sweet spot.
Once you update that coal thumper, it can handle more gathering posts.

I learned many of the tips and tricks watching you play the missions.
Not gonna lie, it's infuriating watching you forget so much of what you've taught me.

Emergency shift
Extended shift
Fighting pits
Food/children
Go from there.
Another to I leaned from you send scouts to what you've explored before sending them to the destination to save time.
Because of your previous series I ended up watching ALL of your other frostpunk series over the last few days I’ve really enjoyed watching you play it as I’ve started playing it recently

I.... am just now discovering that you play Frostpunk. Noice. I play it on Xbox so I get quite a different experience.
If you go to a place you have been your scouts goes a lot faster. Wich means you can use earlier discovered places as waypoints to travel faster out.
And he will eventually have to go to the public tab and spend 400 wood and 250 steel on the archives after the first storm.

Truly, this the winter of your discontent
Pravus, it is always faster going between explored areas, than it is heading to a new area. The DN? It was 1day22h from city, but consider it is 1d3h from a location further away. I doubt you would have had time anyways. That site probably would have frozen before you got there.... been close. But if you did, you would have gotten back still, probably 18h

@Pravus i think the moonshine comes after the fighting arena etc.
Next time you're in a position where you might not be able to make it to the dreadnought look at places you've visited that would take your scouts near the location. I've shaved dozens of hours off a trip by doing that but you have to be mindful not to over shoot where you want to go.

hot houses are heated green houses, so they grow things like vegetables inside. That's how they provide food.
