i love that you point out it can be done cheaply, i was recently watching someone that did the entire AT with a total budget of 1k and they succeeded .
Stink, stank, stunk. Great tips Alton. It can be freezing until Mid May in Shenandoah’s. Also we have had some rainy, chilly memorial weekends. Cold doesn’t last.
"The trail is a collection of opportunities to make your own experience" - couldn't agree more with this sentiment
There are so many experiences to be had, don't limit yourself if you want to do other things than hike from one White Blaze to the next.
Nicely Done & Very Helpful Overall .... mvc
Glad that you enjoyed it!

I saw Quadzilla tried that but couldn't make the $1k stretch to all of his needs. Although, I think a lot of that was down to medical expenses.
@@Adventure_Together totally agree with you on that
Great content! Thanks! 🌞
Thanks for watching 😊

Fantastic advice Allen
Thanks, Mac!
very informative a lot of this isnt mentioned on other channels
Thank you 😊 I'm glad that you found it useful. There's no point in me rattling off the same points you can hear in every other youtuber's video
What other things do hikers need to know before attempting a thru-hike?
You might have already covered it, but beware of drama.
Yes! I hadn't mentioned it, but it still occurs on the trail as much as anywhere else. What drama have you come across?
