0:32 I don't have a poster setting on my printer. Here's an idea. I used an editing app. Custom set the page size on the app to legal size, 8.5 x 14 (not 11). I then copied a ruler from Google images. I fit the ruler plus an extra 2 inches from bottom to top on the editor page. It has to measure 14 inches from top to bottom. I inserted the template I downloaded from the Shamma sole size and use the little ruler it comes with and made sure it matched the 14 in ruler I made. That's it. Print using the legal setting, not the letter setting. Note: I found that i needed to save the image to an image or JPEG file and not PDF file. After you print it, check the ruler on the image to a real ruler or tape measure just to confirm.
(personal) dissenting advice about sizing: In this video we are told at minute 3:34 that the placement of the ankle posts is not important. I find that wrong. The ankle posts placements ARE important. If the ankle posts are underneath your feet, you feel them (you step on them with every step) and the straps chaff. (I suggest tracing your foot on the template. If the the ankle posts are INSIDE your foot - beware - they will be underneath your foot when you walk)
Hi my girlfriend ordered me a pair as a Christmas gift and it may be a size too small. I’ve been wear vibrams for over a year and I wear size 10.5 in those shoes how would I go about getting a new size . And the shammas she got me are 10.5 as well
Hi Nikolay, In this video we use the Shamma sizing chart which is in inches. Here is a link to the page with the sizes and their measurements. That's what worries me. On the template that I downloaded, those slots are under my wide feet.
