This video shows you how to relace your Earth Runners grounding sandals, whether you're swapping straps like me, or changing to a new style. I tried to make this close up and as detailed as possible to simplify the process. This makes it easy to change out styles when you're ready for something new.

I've been very frustrated with the fitment of my earth runner sandals since day 1. It's been 3-months now and I'm still working on it. I'll do some things until I get frustrated then put them away for a while until I'm ready to try again! The heel strap constantly falls down. I wrote to the company and they gave me instructions but still I was having trouble. You are the only help I've found that walks me through it in such a way I can understand. I'll just keep tweaking until I find success. So many love these sandals that there must be a way.
They can be a bit challenging I adjust, but making those little adjustments does help.
Thank you for your clear directions, unlike the man from their website. After following him, I was ready to throw the sandals in the trash.
Great, easy to understand instructions! Thank you! Just a note for anyone who has to cut their laces shorter--slightly melt the newly cut end with a lighter immediately or it will ravel.

@RenewalFitCoach how long does it take to get used to them and break them in? My second toe hurts so bad and they are not comfy at all at first
@@melissahuffman5857 I’m not sure because all of mine were comfy from the start. The Elementals took more getting used to for me, but still weren’t bad. But I’ve seen others say it took a while without exact time frames. Maybe just wear them for 5-10 minutes at a time every day and slowly add on time? Or use the Live Chat on the website to ask their opinion.

Any recommendations on cleaning the foot bed?
Earth Runners has a couple great videos for this on their IG, and offer a cleaning kit on their website. I use a still scrub brush like ones for the shower or kitchen and dish soap or shampoo and then hose them down and put them outside to dry if it’s warm enough.
I wonder if I put earth runner laces on a different/shoe sole, would it work the same? There are some more affordable sandals that are jusr as thin as ER on Amazon, and im thinking until I can save up, if it would work?

How do you remove the plug first? I have looked everywhere for instructions with no luck.
Did you watch the full video? The plug is attached to the lace, so you untie the entire lace first and the plug is the last part to come out
Does it matter which direction you twist before you put it in the buckle?

When you buy new laces, do the buckles come with? Or need to buy separate?
That I don’t know. I’ve only switched laces on my shoes, I haven’t bought the new ones. You’d have to ask customer service that or see if the website specifies
I didn't get buckles when I ordered new laces
The thong strap irritated between my toes. Design flaw actually. Wont be using them for long walks. Disappointing.
