Thank you for your video. I watched two others before yours and your video was the easiest to follow!

Man I avoided these sandals once I got them cause I could not get them to fit. You are so wonderful for making this video. Effortlessly. Thank you 😊

I just wore my new sandals for the first time walking around the streets and malls and my feet died. it hurt so bad on the balls of my feet and even the thong between my toes. Will I get used to it?

Hey, sorry you experienced discomfort, hopefully the sandals are broken in by now! Like a lot of new footwear (particularly thong-style) they can take a little time to break in. You can get the lace a little wet and twist it away from the area of pain to help expedite this process. You also want to make sure the lace isn't too tight, which could definitely pose a problem with comfort. You can email hello@earthrunners.com with any questions!

Mine seemed uncomfortable at first too. But I did wear them for one week and they are super comfy now. The thong is soft now compared to hard at first.

Just to add my 2 cents, got my pair about a month ago and was fortunate enough to spend that first week or two with the sandals playing with some water in the yard with my son. A common finding I saw when researching these sandals before purchasing was people experienced an about a week long breaking in or adjustment period where the thong part felt stiff, rough, irritating between the big toe and second toe, but eventually this goes away, becomes comfortable, and is no longer an issue. I think getting my sandals wet during this adjustment period may have expedited that process.
So my advice to people having this issue with the sandals is to continue making small tweaks and adjustments trying to find that balance between comfort and a secure fit (not only on the toe thong portion of the lacing but the heel and ankle parts as well). Perhaps getting the sandals, or maybe just the strap/lace, wet might help. After maybe a week I’ve adjusted the sandals to my liking so that I don’t feel the need to make any more adjustment to the strap/lacing, my sandals are discomfort free, and now I’m basically looking for reasons to put them on and wear them. Definitely worth the adjustment and breaking-in process.
