@lesliehenderson2424 we not Supposed to but we all do it. Shit I put my own Vinity and toilet. took the medicine cabinet down, put my own mirror. Painted the kitchen cabinets and Change the appliances, light fixtures.
@jasmineslife41 ok iktr I have done it in rentals with slack landlords who didn't care but our housing authority will have you in some boot legged repaired shit but let you do something to decorate or make it more liveable they ready to fine you fail your inspection and put you out it's crazy but I love what you did especially the eating table
Finally, a project tour where someone invest in their children’s room. I’ve seen a lot of project tours and the mother or parents room is done before the kids room if they even get to their room. I’m sure there’s more mothers/parents who does their kids rooms but this was so refreshing to see. Beautiful apartment!

I like that your apartment is neat. It would be better if the refrigerator is not next to the stove because the heat of the stove causes it to damage faster. Perhaps if nycha would allow you to move it next to the dinning area. Also I like it that you’re able to have a washer and dryer in your apartment. Having those items in an apartment in NYC’s apartment is a luxury. I noticed that you do not have the washing machine water cycle underneath ( adherent) to the kitchen tube. Get a good plumber to do that type of job. It’s not costly. Enjoy your apartment & thank you for featuring on you tube.

It takes awhile to get into pu lic housing when you apply. It can be a matter of months or even YEARS. Depending on your situation. It's a long process. Just thought you should know that very important part.
