Take the sofa off the wall and have the back of the sofa facing the the dining table. Put your TV on the wall where you have the flower art and the sofa. It will look great! Put the flower art where you said you will put your TV get a console table and put it under the wall art and add decor.
My mom had a small apartment as well. It was mint he heart of the hood, bullets flying at night and fights all day every day. The police basically loved in those apartments. She cleaned it beforehand before we moved in, but when we walked in to see the decorations and minimal themed rooms we were surprised the apartment looked so nice. It stayed nice until the day we moved out. We forgot we were going broke for a while ngl😂😂😂
