At the beginning, I thought about the seat jackers were silly. But after a couple of months driving for long trips, the Tacoma seat has very bad support for the back of my legs, it makes my legs sore and sometimes numb. I'm just 5-9, I felt the difference right away with seat jackers, even my GF said, the addition makes seating way more comfortable. This is a must mod for a 2019 Taco
@MorrMedia1 Depending on how comfortable it is for you. I got only the front jackers. I didn't spend another 100 bucks for the rear ones (they are just spacers), I just staked several thick washers to reach 1/2 inch, but I replaced the bolt for longer ones. I think, on their website, sell front and back jackers like a set, so you can save some money on it. Definitely, you have to play with the seat high. My last trip was 7 hours, no problem at all
A lot of people bag on the Tacoma seats. I think they’re actually quite comfortable. I’m 5’10 and keep the front seat tilt all the way down. You gotta have some tall legs to need those seat jackers.
I have the Desert Does It front seat jackers in both my 2020 and my 2015 Tacomas. I am 6'4" and they are game changers for my leg position and no impact to my head room in either of the vehicles
I'm 6'0" and have trouble getting in and out of the truck. Plus I don't like the headroom once in the driver's seat. I have everything stock with the seat. I have it as low as it can possibly go. All these add-ons look like they are raising the seat higher. You are 6'4", I can't imagine what you are going through. Are these mods helping with lowering the seat?
I am also 6'4" and am not really comfortable. I thought the seat jackers would put the steering more in my lap than it already is. Does it change that too much?
I asked the question about your seat covers on another video of yours and am now just seeing this video. Thanks for posting!! You have some phenomenal suggestions!!!
I really enjoy her posts, she is very informative, doesn’t push the products and is honest about them unlike so many other Tacoma influencers. No I am not saying that because she is an attractive young woman which she is because I am probably old enough to be her dad which isn’t a turn on for me but because she is genuine and sincere about her sweet ride. I own a Voodoo Blue 2019 TRD-Pro and I wish I had half the cool stuff she has done to hers. Thank you for the tips, I am seriously considering the underseat compressor. I have a question did you lose your information center for mileage and trips etc with your new stereo you installed? I use my info/data center for gas mileage etc and my Sirius/XM radio constantly so I am worried about changing the stereo out just to have a bigger screen and CarPlay because I really enjoy my JBL sound system and don’t want to lose those option. What do you think.
LOL, that was a great "corny" chevron transition. Also, I've done most of my seat mods based on your videos. These have always been helpful. You've seen the BlueTaco, it's almost there :)
One of my first mods was adding Seat Jackers. Way more comfortable BUT now I can't use my rear-view mirror at all! Even with it adjusted all the way up I'm looking at my back headrests now and can't see what's behind me.
The seat jackers reduce headroom a lot. I'm 6ft tall and the just the front seat jacker made it impossible to get the seat low enough to keep my head from scraping the roof.
That's exactly what I thought. I'm 6'0" and have a tough time getting in and out of the truck. I also have an issue with how low the headliner is. I'm maybe an inch off. Stock seat with adjustments as low as they can get.
@@clfaraci This is my first Toyota and as expensive as they are, I would assume the would have some of the basic stuff figured out. There should be enough headroom for someone 6ft tall. When I lean the seat back far enough to not hit the headliner, then I can't reach the steering wheel. A heated steering wheel would be nice, as would LED interior lights, and bed ties downs that are actually useful. How long has Toyota been making trucks and they haven't figured out where to put the bed tie downs?
Her mentioning cracks from parking in the sun is quite surprising. I figured she'd 100% be the type to put one of those reflective sun protectors across the windshield.
Chloe, yup, a long time for a vehicle is until the next model year, especially when the manufacturer has a leap in functionally and technology. I am curious as to what color you are landing on.. Awesome content!
Hey how you doing? How is your fuel economy on my 2021 TRD off-road 4x4 it's not really good on gas. I have to put every 2 days and that's only half tank but it's put a nice 20 to 30
I am looking at getting my first Toyota maybe a 2024 Tacoma trd or 2025 4Runner redesigned I have been holding off wanting to see the 4Runner but the Tacoma is looking so freaking good.
Would love the Desert Does It stuff but OMG why is it so damn expensive. For just the pieces she has minus the back mount panel its almost $660. Thats not including the fire extinguisher or the compressor or wiring. She has well over $1000 in seat upgrades. The PRP are nice but those are $500 by themselves for just the fronts and another $500 for the rear.
i had to lease out my tepu tent to defenders of democracy in order to pay for all my MODS . what i love most about BROVERLANDING is flat brims and staring at my PHONE once i get to my FAUX VERLAND destination . almost forgot my yellow fog light covers . i dont always drive with my fog lights on and my light bar . but when i do it s a perfectly CLEAR night. .
Who complains about an air compressor being loud rofl what. Do people think these things are supposed to run silent? Now I can understand if it's deafening loud that it actually hurts your ear drum but yea the sound issue is a super weird thing to complain about. Especially when you realize the foam in the seats absorbs a lot of it anyways.
Hey guys I’m new to making upgrades to vehicles… I now Chloe has some awesome links, but I found some headlights I want to order of extreme terrain and wondered if anyone new if they were any good? Or a legit site?? Any help is appreciated
I have a question for anyone that could answer, I recently got custom covers for my Tacoma from a local shop. These seat covers are completed closed and don't have an airbag safe pocket or anything. Would it still be safe to use? Has anyone experienced an airbag not working because of seat covers, would this damage the warranty? I would appreciate anyone's on opinion on this matter, thanks!
If your shop was local and their stitching did not accommodate the location of the airbags on the seats (or use breakaway stitching), it’s not so much the airbags wouldn’t work, but rather could possibly not deploy properly. As a consequence, the driver or passenger may not be protected in a crash. If either of you got hurt and it was determined the airbags were obstructed because of your modification, I would think it’s possible your insurance company could avoid paying for damages for bodily injury (maybe even for hospitalization) if they found this to be the case. Toyota might also be released from any damages because you kept the airbags from deploying as they should have. Also, I believe modification on a particular part of your vehicle does not void the warranty on other parts. In other words, if you modified your suspension and then a week later, the electronics in your radio go out where work is needed, your warranty is not voided for the electrical/radio simply because you added new upper control arms or wheel spacers. I hope that makes sense. Of course, this is my opinion and from various research I’ve done over the last couple of years since I’ve owned my Tacoma.
@@JediGokuLee Thanks for all of your input! It makes sense, I appreciate you taking the time to write the response. I have a better idea on the situation now
Where in the hell can I get the clear coating for my instrument cluster and my infotainment screens? I can’t find them ANYWHERE. No my question doesn’t have anything to do with swats
Easy 30 minutes with the proper tools. I would definitely suggest that when tightening everything back down, you torque to vehicle specifications as to properly secure. On a sidenote, the passenger side took over an hour for a single Seat Jacker alone because the threads were damaged from when Toyota installed the seats.
Don’t put those fuel additives or that fuel injector cleaner in your car. Most of them can cause problems with your 02 sensors and cause problems with your catalytic converter. Some can also attack certain materials in your engine. All premium fuels have additives in them. So you’re just wasting money. Only thing you should use is Sea Foam. You shouldn’t need that until you have closer to 100k miles. Use premium fuels. And change your oil every 3k miles, you’ll get better benefits from that then adding those crappy additives. Adding an oil catch can will also help. Paper filter when you off road.
Sure She doesn't have hardly any *"**#Patron_Subscribers**"* . She doesn't have like 5.8M subscribers like *"Scotty Kilmer"* , whereby she can live off her #RUclips income alone.
rofl wtf? She's cute. I think it's because she has really big eyes (like the actual iris/pupil area and the pupils themselves are super dark. So she has big dark eyes. Leaving you with the 'soulless empty look' impression.
Seat upgrades are so underrated! Makes the biggest difference in driving!

I'm having lots of tailbone pain when driving, going to try these out. Do you use front and rear jackers or only front?
@MorrMedia1 Depending on how comfortable it is for you. I got only the front jackers. I am almost 6 foot. And I can get In-N-Out of my 2014 Ford Fusion easier than I can my two Tacomas without hitting my head.
I am also 6'4" and am not really comfortable. I thought the seat jackers would put the steering more in my lap than it already is. Does it change that too much?
For sure , adding the rear "pucks". (or stacked fender washers) will really bring the seating position together.
I asked the question about your seat covers on another video of yours and am now just seeing this video. Thanks for posting!! You have some phenomenal suggestions!!!
Thank You Chloe! I have thought about doing this for a long time. Your twist on it reinforces that I need to get this done.

No vent visors? It would also help with not having the door open when it's raining during air ups.
Look into Clazzio, very OEM looking but are also "covers". Although hard to tell
Headwaters are a solid option too
LOL, that was a great "corny" chevron transition. Also, I've done most of my seat mods based on your videos. These have always been helpful. You've seen the BlueTaco, it's almost there :)
Invest in a sunshade for the windshield..might help with cracking( cools the inside)
I'm 100% stealing the fire extinguisher idea

Hi Chloe, Yes sir I will say it again that's one sharp taco, and your one sharp cookie.
My lord, you're an athlete!
Are the ISO dynamic seats o. The 2024 TRD Pro standard or it's an option?
I think I'm going to go with that fire extinguisher mod!
Thats a cool $350 in just parts, not including the fire extinguisher. But yeah it is a nice spot
Once again, great stuff! Always a learned experience! Will check into the adds! Thanks!!

How do the leather seat covers feel on hot days and cold days when the trucks been sitting ?
I have a Toyota tundra - know of any cool gun safes/mounting equipment?
More places to hide stuff😂. I would however I would find something to cover the output to keep dust out🤔.
Cracking seat covers after only 3 years is pretty lame considering how much PRP costs 😬
Yeah a cool $1000 if you have a four door.
Haha Rather have cracking seats then a cracking engine/transmission haha
@@erniexololoco8581 That’s why we own Toyota’s not Ford’s, but it has nothing to do with $1000 seat covers that don’t hold up.
