This playthrough is cool! So much Gale dialogue I never got to hear, cause Shadowheart was a screen hog. Hopefully this issue will be fixed in the full release.
@@Vecamiel Someone else I know had a theory, that Gale might be trying to become a God so that he would be on equal footing with Mystra. It might be interesting to see if this pans out for that individual's theory.
@@MizuMing Really? Yeah thats possible, related to his behalf to impress Mystra. Besides i'm new at this game, but i saw some videos and Let's Plays. So i don't know everything.
@@Vecamiel To be fair, at this point the only people who know everything are Larian themselves. The rest of us can only grasp at whatever straws we have been given so far in the modified version of Act 1.
I personally prefer the new face, but the old one had it's charm as well. I haven't heard a direct reason why it was changed, but I assume it was to make him look more like the loading screen art, since it was a quite common joke that he didn't look as handsome in game. I am expecting that this still isn't the final version of him, since we don't see the bandages that he has in there yet.
@@MUNMOMUU Honestly, I imagine everyone will get a bump in appearance before the final release if only a little. I've noticed so far that Astarion's face has softened and the lines around his nose and mouth aren't as deep as they used to be. Lae'zel looks more textured than she did previously, like her black spots are raised a little bit more. Shadowheart looks more lively and has more radiant skin, her scar looks slightly updated too. Wyll's eye scar looks better and you can see texture/writing on his right eye now. So I feel that this update of Gale's is just a little bit of polish much like the others. I imagine all of them will have at least another run through of work done on them before the end, just to make sure that everything is perfect.

Gale remind me a little bit of Anders (Dragon Age), but he is more handsome and less fanatic.

@@MizuMing Yeah, I agree. Gale's face got texture updates almost every patch after patch 4, so they are working on the appearances still.
I prefer the new one :)
