First couple of bosses are not that hard, after we knew the mechanics. But the last 2 are still hard imo. It took us 26 wipes on the last boss to get this clear
@@Prodosydium Honestly, i think menagerie is rather easy as well. The last one has some difficulty indeed, no doubt about that. Every kill (even with 10 people) we had some deaths and it always got close in the end.

When the warrior died on p4, seems like the pet took less damage than him Anything special for the pet be able to tank p1 other than the hunter be BM ? Really great job btw, congratz!
The pet is not the problem in phase 1. The boss will cast Furnace Surge, he will do this on the player who is the most close by and not on the pet. Because we cant handle more damage we kite him during this mechanic. Also this give me a second to regen some mana. We should have tanked phase 4 with the pet, this was the first time we had a good run with phase 4 and we did not know what the boss would do. Phase 2 and 3 has to be tank since the boss will cast his ability's on the tank anyway. Also it is easier to keep 1 tank up, alternating between the tank and pet was not doable for me. The hunter just taunts the boss with his pet and the melee need to watch their threat.
The pet taunt just does +1 threat to whatever was tanking it with most threat last. So whoever is your MT has to stop attacking altogether in order to get the boss to not turn around.
@@chrisk6167 The pet starts tanking in the beginning of the phase, so he can just get all the threat. All the other DPS will wait for 5 to 10 sec before they start doing damage to make sure they don't over aggro. After that they just need to keep watching their aggro. If they get to high they simply stop attacking for a while. Because we kite him during the surge the pet can get some threat back since he does not get any damage from it. Just tried it today and it's quite literally impossible to heal if you don't have people doing the buttons. We also had threat issues with tank swapping, as well as a fury warrior trying to off-tank. Additionally, I've realized from watching this footage that they're utilizing 2 prot wars which probably means shield block spam, hence why they take 0 damage. But for us our ~500 gs sham tank in nearly full bis was getting slapped for 1k+ per swing because he wasn't blocking everything. As a result the other priest and I had to use greater heal and penance spam, whereas here in the video the priest SOLO heals it and mainly just throws out a few flash heals from time to time, nothing crazy. The difference between doing mechanics and having the right comp, and NOT, are night and day.
Uhhh... we had only 1 warrior and yes he is using shield block but that does not mean he is not getting damage. Its not just having a warrior tho, our first try i needed to spam heal the tank as well and was OOM in a matter of seconds. Kiting during the Furnace Surge is a big deal, the stacks the tank got was insane otherwise. Later we found out the pet does not even get the debuff so we just let the pet tank the first phase. It is more about mastering the mechanics and using every trick in the book. Pre-potting every protection pot, downranking skills, getting the right gear for this fight, communication for the buttons (buttons have the highest prio), interrupting as soon as possible, no mistakes, respeccing for the right talents and runes, etc etc etc. That will make the difference not the class persee. Casters would be better for us as well but we don't have those in our group so we just adept our playstyle and mechanics. Most of the builds and bis gear we found online does not fit our playstyle.
