Is that an American thing? We wouldn't dream of eating bread with a cooked meal (which probably already contains carbs), and especially not white bread. Having said that, this bread looks absolutely amazing, but unfortunately the results are not so good with wholemeal (healthier) flour.

It is the BEST, easiest bread I've ever made/eaten.
I started doing it overnight but then on a day I needed it in 3:07 a few hours I started doing a two to four hour rise and it's always turned out perfect.❤

Guys I just made it and I am so pleased with the result!! It's just as beautiful as yours and it has the perfect crunch and texture. I've always had trouble with previous recipes but not this one! So simple yet so delicious 😃 I had to put my dough in the fridge for around two hours before I was ready to bake but did not run into any issues. Thank you for the simple and lovely recipe and video. I made this today and it was fabulous. Great crust and crumb and, as it uses no fat, it’s not as bad as some other breads for calories. Highly recommend making a loaf.

I made it and it is FABULOUS! I know you said to let it cool off and I did but I cut it just a few minutes earlier just so that I would get the taste of warm bread and ohhh myyy gosh. I put some olive oil in a little bowl with a drop of salt and I dipped and ate. Holy cow. PERFECTO!

This was so delicious and so easy. My husband thought I bought it at a bakery. I thought I deflated it because I forgot to flour the parchment then flipped it back and forth to get it onto floured parchment. Then I forgot to score it. But no! Perfection. She was beautiful!

If you do 3-4 stretch and folds during the 2 hours (if your available) then it makes a much lighter and bigger bread.
Is she talking I 500 degrees F or C ?

I have such a similar recipe it may as well be the same .... and instead of popping it into a dutch oven, I gently 'dump' it onto a baking sheet, letting it lay as it falls. Then, using my fingers, poke dimples into it ... voila, focaccia stylez. I've always loved your channel and recipes.
