Completed Pages June 2024 Part 2 | Adult Colouring | What I drew as a beginner artist last month

This video is part 2 of the completed pages I did in June 2024. I used this month to explore colouring in a different way - reverse colouring. I also painted with watercolour, then drew over with a brush pen and finaliser, or I used a finaliser to draw greenery and then used coloured pencils to bring it to life.
The cupcake is drawn using pencil, pen and alcohol markers, and I followed a tutorial from Julia Henze, in her membership, Brave Brushes Studio. Highly recommend, thank you Julia for the instruction!

Why this channel?
When I was in secondary school, the subject I got consistently low grades in was art class.
I made it mean I was not good enough: I lacked talent and I'd better look for something else to do with my life because painting was not going to be it for me.
Decades later, after taking a completely different career path, I am giving myself the chance to learn art again. Colouring, drawing, painting, sketching and illustrating. I’m trying them all.
