      @@nebulous9280 it simply increases the tick rate, which means it speeds up EVERYTHING. they may set a max tick rate cap tho, like they did for zen's primary fire

    Kinetic Grasp, Javelin Spin, Deflect, and Defense Matrix are separate hitboxes from the player, unlike Power Block, which is still a part of Doom's hitbox

    Honestly the sigma double flux is interesting because normally if you flux nothing the whole animation doesnt play, but even after fluxing the targets who had just landed, the whole animation goes but the zens didnt get lifted? Maybe theres some sort of internal cooldown with flux idk

      Considering Echo is in the game I think it's specifically intended to just not to the damage. You could literally one shot an entire team with Dupe Double Flux if they could go off simultaneously.

      @@nebulous9280 that would be so situational that i don't think it would be op. Literally both teams need a sigma, and at lest one needs an echo. Even then it costs two ults and people can still dodge the first one. The chances of killing the whole enemy team are quite slim, most of the time you get one or two people in it

      @D00m noodle Circuit Royale is a really good map for Sigma, and Echo can reasonably be played on it. You also wouldn't even need to one shot an entire team. Hit a backline and they just die. Neither Beat nor Transcendance would save them.
      Also... 2 ults for a won fight? That's really good tbh. 90% of fights are won with Ultimate Combos anyway, like Hog/Visor Kiriko or Nano Blade. I think it would absolutely be OP, saying this as an Echo player.
      Again, you don't need to kill an entire team. Just 1 or 2 Supports to completely swing a fight in your favor.

    I think the last facts with B.O.B. is pretty interesting because it shows that B.O.B. health is considered something like a turret since it can't reward ult charge, but the damage he does is considered Ashe's damage, so something like a damage boost can provide ult charge.

      You can still just drop your own turrets under the Torb Turret! This one is actually really strong since the Torb Turret will naturally body block the Sym Turrets. If you ever have a Torb on your team, coordinating a full Turret bomb is really fun (albeit impractical)

    Kinetic Grasp works during Protection Suzu because it doesn't grab projectiles when they hit Sigma, it grabs them when they enter the ability hitbox.

    Re: Does Ana have a different animation for sleep timeout wakeup vs damage wakeup - she used to, but they removed it in an OW1 patch because it allowed Ana to one-combo tracer in more situations.

      i am still salty about it
      if you manage to land a long cooldown and hard to hit skill on a hard to hit character, and then you spend the time in the mist of chaos to wait for her to wake up, and time the wake up animation correctly, you should deserve the kill

    Every new thing you learn about kiriko's kit makes her even more powerful. I thinks it's unfair that her ult can't be cancelled in cases where a nano can.

      It does have some counters now,Mei wall blocks it so it will end up being short,since it's slower to build than it used to be you can also use torbs ult to just cover it

      I think it's more unfair that nano can be cancelled at all. if you want to give something a cast time, make it an actually important one, not a frame or two where that cast time doesnt add any counterplay regardless

    I’ve had my Kiriko ult effectively cancelled by Junkrat mine when he launched me up as I used it. The fox just dove straight down and immediately disappeared with no ult

    I've always felt like Rampage should at least deal a small amount of impact damage. Feels kind of silly that something so extreme looking that causes bleeding wounds would not inflict any damage apart from the blood loss.

      100% should trade some of the bleed for some small burst DMG bc rn it's garbage and gets countered by TOO MANY abilities (without considering Ults). Fade, Translocate to HP, any healthpack, cleanse and kiriko tp (2 cleanses), Bap Immort, outlasting it/peeling, bubble, recall, and straight up dodging it with slide jump, dash, blink, coach gun or enough to either direction, and pretty much any good movement ability (if the ULT didn't get countered by rock, punch, javelin, sleep, hook, boop, hack, a well placed trap, etc). There's other abilities that counter it but you get the point. You can argue a good JQ keeps track of cooldowns and that's true, but even then, she remains one of the easier tanks to counter their ult. It's crazy how easy it is to play around Rampage, especially in a somewhat coordinated team. What makes it worse is that her ULT is one you don't want to be holding, and you get punished for it because relative to other tanks her base tempo isn't as good

    I think the logic behind canceling Kiriko's ult is probably that its the fox that's causing the effect so stunning her does nothing to stop it but killing her severs her spiritual connection, thus it cancels the ultimate. That's my guess for their rationale.

    7:39 I'm pretty sure you can cancel it with Sombra's Hack as well. I remember getting my ult cancelled bc I got hacked mid-cast. Pretty sure I've done the same to other Kiriko's as well

    For Ana’s sleep ‘myth’ (7:01), I’m pretty certain the time you wake the enemy is important.
    I haven’t tested it fully in OW2, but there used to be a tech on Ana where you shoot the sleeping target just before they naturally wake up & it allows you to get in extra damage (aka is a longer waking animation).
    Might have to run this test again man.

      After the update, i actually accidentally dodged a cass ult by rolling as cass. Haven’t tried to recreate it but it very clearly missed while i was still on screen for the enemy cass.

    It isn't i-frames that allow sojourn to avoid the deadeye. It's just that deadeye sometimes misses. The reasons are pretty complicated but there's a Marblr video that goes more in-depth.

    The Cassidy Deadeye missing sometimes isn’t Sojourn-specific. I was reviewing a low-rank Mercy player’s game and was confused when she didn’t die to a Deadeye. Dunno if the bullet trails are entirely accurate, but it appeared that it shot just behind her wings as she was flying. I think she was in the middle of transitioning from the horizontal GA posture to the vertical angelic descent posture, so maybe the changing angle of the hitbox has something to do with why the shot misses? It looks like the time that Deadeye shot on Sojourn missed in your example was right at the beginning of her slide, where she’s also transitioning between a vertical and horizontal position.
    In the Mercy example that I found, I noticed that the shot trails for the others who actually did take damage from the Deadeye were also not centered. In fact, the Echo got hit even though the shot trail and the blood spatter weren’t that close to her. I presume that this is due to “favor the shooter” netcode stuff-the replay shows the server’s version of where the targets are positioned, but maybe the shot angles represent where the targets were in the Cassidy player’s client when he fired? We know that the “favor the shooter” process involves rewinding the target to a previous location to match what the shooter saw. I wonder if maybe the _position_ of the target is being rewound but the model/hitbox posing is not? That could explain why the Deadeye misses seem to be correlated with movements that involve significant changes in the viewed shape of the target’s hitbox. Like, if the Deadeye shot is aimed at a vertical Sojourn on the client, but on the server the Sojourn is already in the horizontal portion of the slide, maybe the Sojourn’s position is rewound but her hitbox is still horizontal and on the ground, so the shot goes above her and misses?

    As a Brig's main, the health pack getting 25 instant healing has been a game changer and she's now often able to at the very least keep up numbers with most other healers if played by a similar rank. Historically, I found what would happen is you'd throw a pack at someone, only for the other supp to heal them immediately after and the pack gets wasted. Made your numbers look fairly weak compared to other support.
    It's not uncommon now though for healing to reach 12-14k or more, while still maintaining damage output. Must admit, I really like the new change for her.

      @@yunusemrebuyukguler4441 brig is almost entirely about your positioning. You want to use the distance of her flail to its best effect.
      Play around cover rather than charging into the fray until you know you can get the picks. Also, make sure you use bash as primarily an escape rather than an attack. Should only attack with it to secure a kill.
      Lastly would be to know who to take on and when to run. She can take on most dps and supp 1v1, but cass' bomb will destroy you, as well bastions turret, so always be wary engaging them. Anyone else, use her abilities attack animation cancelling to devastate their health in less than a second and either force then to run or die etc.

      @@Grigeral you explained in detail, thank you. We know that after the last buff, medkits give 25 health points directly. So how many health does 1 medkit plant? Grants 50 health per second, total. Does it give 125 or 100 health points? It would be great if I know the answer to this too.

      @@yunusemrebuyukguler4441 so iirc, packs used to do 120 over 2 secs, now it's 25+100 over 2. This is actually a bigger buff than some realise, because it helps prevent wasted packs.
      Previously, if you throw a pack at someone, then the other supp heals them, the pack is wasted. Now, it's visibly obvious they are getting healed already and if you throw 2 packs at a critical person, it's 50+200 over 2, so will get anyone bar tank back to full almost immediately.
      One thing that you HAVE to know though, is when to switch off or avoid brig entirely. Brig and Zen, Brig and Lucio for example are awful compositions, so avoid them. She also works best when the team mostly group together, so if you are finding your team are all over the show, Brig gets minimal value.
      Also worth noting is things like Ana's anti. If that's playing hell on your team, you're probably gonna need to switch off Brig to Kiriko of the other support isn't already, or if the tank is carrying, switch out to Zen for discord etc.

I'm gold 4 support, tend to end the majority of my games since her buff with around 30-40 K/A and around 10-14k healing, so when people say she sucks, it's definitely wrong, but she 'is' a niche character. Just less of one since her buff.

    Can Kiriko effectively heal herself by having an enemy Genji reflect her initial afuda into a friendly Genji reflection?
    (Combination of the second to last myth and Genji being able to heal his teammates by reflecting afudas myth. Very niche interaction, but something I think that would be worth/fun testing!)

    starting at 7:00 debating whether ana's sleep dart wake up animation changes depending on whether the target naturally wakes up (right side, we'll call this animation 1) or if the sleep is interrupted (left side, animation 2). Going into .25 speed we can see that the Z's last longer on animation 1 even though he starts his wake up animation slightly before the other. This could indicate that the stun takes longer to dissapear while letting them wake up naturally than if you forcefully wake them up. Maybe i'm wrong, maybe KarQ is wrong. I'd like your guys's input

      Viewing @.25 speed the woken rein with the zzz’s wearing off faster also begins moving before the other rein. The natural wake one still has those zzz’s on him and the other one is able to take a step.
      The comparison stops once the zz’s fade, so can’t tell if he was trying to move or not during that tiny zz animation diff
      So it is possible.
      But then also:
      KarQ cut time, and lined up the two scenarios. Lining up the exact moment a “team mate wakes them up” alongside the exact moment they “naturally wake up” means it’s possible the videos are just slightly out of sync.
      Given how tiny the difference between the two is, it’s possible this is why there’s a slight discrepancy.
      I’d do it in reverse myself: line up perfectly when they can first move after waking up, put that side by side and play the comparison but going from wake to origin of wake and see if that slight discrepancy remains or not.
      Having said all that: there’s not much in the difference between the two so it’s almost negligible.
      Big picture also - if you were waiting for natural wake for a longer animation, doesn’t mean it is then always better to wait for it to tick down. An ulting genji? Sure haha. A tracer that just used loads of cds? If I am close and got my cds, I’m better off (with my skill level ofc) killing them before they have a chance to cds to wear off.
      In sum: yeah there’s a slight diff in the timings in this vid between the two, but it’s not a large enough amount that it matters or even exists given editing, plus there are other things that happen so even if slightly factually incorrect ultimately the take away is the same: treat as if no wake animation diff between the two.

    Kitsune Rush CAN be cancelled by stun. I’ve done this once or twice with Roadhog. I hooked her at the right timing and her ult didn’t come out. (the ult voiceline was heard, though)
    The window is super tight, however. You have to get lucky realistically.

    Similar to the way hanzo arrow can stuck on shield and drop, JQ knife can do the same. So rare instance if you knife zarya bubble and she moves forward she can get stuck with knife after barrier. Same with rein

    This might be kind of obscure but I’ve been wondering it for a while: if a Sigma has an Orb of Discord on him while he uses kinetic grasp, does his shield gain get amplified by the damage buff? The same applies to a discorded Genji deflecting and the damage he would deal back

      no, because deflect and kinetic grasp reflect the attack, not the damage discord only increases dmg taken not the attack itself

      McNoon aims at center of mass, that's all you need to cover, if McCassidy sees 90% of the body but center of mass is hidden (by payload for example) it won't hit. Inversely, if 90% of the body is hidden but center of mass is visible it will hit. This is useful when McCassidy is on an incline and the enemy team is hiding behind the payload, the McCassidy can move down the incline and at some point he'll see the center of mass of the enemies in the small gap between the payload and the floor

    Ok this is in regards to the new mercy change:
    If Ana nade effect is on a teammate, will Mercy healing that teammate boost Mercy’s own self-healing?
    Also, if teammate AND mercy are affected by friendly Ana nade, will Mercy self-heal be affected by both sources?

      Self heal is only affected by the healing MERCY does. Healing a friendly naded target will increase her regen.
      Ana nade does not affect Mercy’s REGEN. Ana nade doubles healing effects. Regen is not classified as a healing effect. Otherwise all supports and shields would regen faster with her nade

    The mercy myths immediately made me think of 3 more:
    Does mercy gain ult charge from the self healing from her new passive?
    Does mercy's passive activate while healing Bob?
    Does mercy heal Bob more below half health? (Is it worth trying to keep Bob up)

      Mercy does not gain ult charge from passive, neither does any of the supports since it's a passive ability.
      Bob does trigger mercy passive since for most situations Bob is considered an actual player entity and really the only npc in game excluding the training bots and the spawned bots in custom game.
      Since Bob is considered an npc akin to the training bots, the half health 50% heal does apply to him. (It is not usually worth it since if Bob got that low within 8 seconds, that usually means the entire enemy team is focusing Bob and thus the heal becomes mundane

      @Mike Snyder ah, no mercy no longer has her original self regeneration. In the past, the role passive regeneration + her personal passive regeneration would stack, though both does not offer any form of ult charge.
      Now she has role passive regeneration + sympathetic recovery (the 25% healback from her staff). The same rules apply, no ult charge given for both passive in any way.

      I'm pretty sure it has to be the actual target's hitbox. I don't think there bubble has a separate hitbox, I think it's just visual

    I know for a fact EMP and hack can stun Kiriko out of casting her ult, I know there’s at least one more stun, but you’re right about the timing, it’s more chance than real counterplay.

    Does sigma ult still do 50% of a targets max hp is they have armour or are nano’d?
    Does Moira heal the same hp when sucking a blocking doom or ram?
    Does jq bleed heal her less if it does damage to armour?
    If you place a tracer pulse or Ashe tnt on top of a Mei wall and then wall breaks will it blow up in the air or does it have to hit the ground again?

      Yes, Fluz does a flat 50% regardless of damage reduction
      Moira self healing isn't tied to damage but rather a set amount per tick.
      I think bleed it's affected by armor and she heals by damage dealt.
      Pulse bomb, dynamite, knife, sticky bomb, sonic arrow will all fall down if the wall/barrier/player they are stuck to disappears/fases out for any reason
